Looking At The Recovery Of Textile Industry Through Fashion Week: Exhibition Economy Of Textile Industry Has Been Active Since September
In the first half of this year, China's textile and clothing industry was seriously affected by the epidemic situation. The industry as a whole is facing a situation of high inventory and tight cash flow, and the whole upstream and downstream industrial chain is in a downturn. After entering August, the textile and clothing industry began to recover, and in September, the exhibition economy of the industry was active again.
The nine day China International Fashion Week has come to an end in Beijing. For the first time, this fashion week adopts online and offline integration display, especially the designer brands, business circles, e-commerce and media platforms jointly drive the integrated development of all channels.
At the same time of China International Fashion Week, China Shaoxing Keqiao International Textile Expo was also held. As the world's largest fabric production base, this year's Expo also introduced online shopping for the first time.
This Shaoxing local enterprise has brought more than 500 fabrics this year. Businessmen from Nepal have taken a fancy to two winter fabrics and signed 30000 meters of fabrics for the first order.
Data from China Textile Industry Federation also show that since September, China's textile exhibition has made remarkable achievements. More than 1500 brands participated in the 2020 Shandong International Textile and clothing Expo, while the online and offline transaction volume of Jiangsu (Shengze) Textile Expo exceeded 1.5 billion yuan.
