After the unveiling ceremony, the first working meeting of Guangdong workstation of CFA Intangible Cultural Heritage Office was held in T11 International Fashion Exchange Center of Guangzhou textile trade park, Haizhu District.

In recent years, Guangdong clothing industry association has carried out various work around the theme of intangible cultural heritage, including the establishment of intangible cultural heritage exhibition base, promotion on the platform of Guangdong fashion week, activities radiating from Haizhu to the whole province, providing services for a number of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance sites, integrating the resources of non Heritage related industrial chain, and laying a solid industrial foundation for workstation work. Next, the workstation will focus on promoting the construction of non heritage cultural and creative blocks, intangible cultural heritage Fashion Museum, intangible cultural heritage + rural revitalization, and make positive efforts to promote the creative protection and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage in the textile and clothing sector.

Haizhu District has always attached great importance to the construction and improvement of the intangible cultural heritage list protection system. Through years of census and declaration, Haizhu intangible cultural heritage has a rich family background. At present, it has successfully applied for one UN "representative work of human oral and intangible heritage", three national intangible cultural heritage list projects, 14 provincial projects, 23 municipal projects and 38 district level projects. The number of intangible cultural heritage projects ranks first in the city. 11 units including Qianjin Road Kindergarten and Grand Marshal's primary school were selected as the municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance base, ranking first in the city.

In the face of rich cultural resources, we can only live when we use them. Haizhu strives to build a brand of intangible cultural heritage activities. It holds "cultural and Natural Heritage Day", "Lingnan Guqin concert" and "Guangdong Pearl River Delta saltwater Song Festival" every year, which has become a shining cultural card of Haizhu District. At the same time, Haizhu District extends the intangible cultural heritage study and exhibition way to campus, community and ancient village, which has done enough "homework" for deepening the protection of traditional culture and cultivating new inheriting groups and individuals, reflecting the unique charm of "seeing people, seeing things and seeing life".

In 2018, Haizhu District will create a three-month "Haizhu intangible cultural heritage season", which will set off a new upsurge of intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance. In 2019, "Haizhu intangible cultural heritage public welfare gathering" series of activities were launched. In addition to holding public welfare experience activities of intangible cultural heritage projects such as guqin, Guangcai, Guangxiu, etc., intangible cultural heritage experience activities were carried out in places such as nursing homes to convey the positive social energy of all levels of society to participate in helping the weak and the disabled. In 2020, Haizhu launched the "Haizhu intangible cultural heritage small class" activity, recorded teaching videos, and widely promoted it on the Haizhu intangible cultural heritage and the public platform of primary and secondary schools in the region. The number of viewers reached 50000, and the "learning power" platform was also serialized. At the same time, Haizhu strengthened the protection and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage in ancient villages. Dragon boat in Longtan Village and Tianhou birthday in Longtan Village have been selected into the intangible cultural heritage list of Guangzhou. Thousands of people participate in the festival every year, and the Dragon Boat picking activity attracts nearly 10000 people. In Huangpu ancient village, activities such as Haizhu Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition on ancient post road of southern Guangdong were also carried out, which laid the foundation for the settlement of dozens of Guangxiu Guangcai paper cutting, tie dyeing and other intangible cultural heritage studios in Huangpu ancient village.

In 2020, Haizhu District proposed the "four ones" development idea of "one street, one station, one park and one platform", namely, to create a street for intangible cultural heritage, to build a workstation for intangible cultural heritage in Guangzhou, to establish a heritage base for intangible cultural heritage, and to create an online platform for intangible cultural heritage education.

In June this year, the first public welfare Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center opened in Haizhu District, where intangible cultural heritage works can be displayed, intangible cultural heritage inheritors can be organized to carry out intangible cultural heritage project experience, teaching, discussion and other activities, as well as the promotion of intangible cultural heritage products and brand activities. It further broadens the channels of intangible cultural heritage study and display, and provides a platform for intangible cultural heritage inheritors to display and exchange, and the inheritors are enthusiastically becoming the "inheritor's home". The Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center in Haizhu District not only protects intangible cultural heritage and preserves historical context, but also integrates red elements into it. It plays a role of Party building and opens a new mode of "party building + intangible cultural heritage".
