Export Value Ratio Nearly Doubled In The First Ten Months

According to the statistics of Quanzhou customs, from January to October this year, the total export value of Shishi clothing city market was 23.185 billion yuan, up 95.59% year on year. Among them, the export in October was 4.49 billion yuan, an increase of 91.04% over the same period last year, setting a new high in a single month since the pilot operation for nearly two years.

In order to give full play to the role of policy support, Quanzhou customs and commercial departments jointly, through online and offline platforms, provide authoritative interpretation and guidance to tens of thousands of small, medium and micro enterprises on the existing market procurement related policies and documents, as well as a series of measures to stabilize foreign trade issued by the customs. Since the beginning of this year, 7061 private suppliers have been added to the pilot project to carry out market procurement trade, and a total of 19625 subjects have participated in the record.

In order to further expand the benefits of the pilot policy, at the end of May, the purchase trade pilot of Shishi clothing city market realized the integration of customs clearance in Fujian Province, and the goods purchased in the market can be "purchased locally and cleared nearby", providing more flexible choices for various business entities participating in the pilot project and saving logistics costs. It is understood that the goods purchased at Fuzhou port adopt the integrated mode of customs clearance within the province. Compared with the customs clearance at Xiamen Customs clearance area, the goods purchased at Fuzhou port can save 1000 yuan on average.

Under the catalysis of favorable policies, Shishi clothing city market procurement trade pilot performance achieved continuous substantial growth, running out of foreign trade acceleration. According to statistics, from June to October, the export value of Shishi clothing city's purchase pilot projects increased by 427.5%, 81%, 191.1%, 54.1% and 91.04% respectively over the same period last year. Among them, October set a new high in a month since the pilot operation for nearly two years. At present, the number of export countries and regions has increased from 149 in 2019 to 166.
