On the afternoon of November 30, the four-day 17th China ASEAN Expo closed in Nanning, Guangxi. With the theme of "jointly building the belt and road" and jointly developing the digital economy, the grand meeting fully demonstrated the achievements of China ASEAN joint efforts in fighting against the new pneumonia epidemic, and comprehensively deepened the friendly relations between China and ASEAN, as well as exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as economy and trade.

"This year marks the 10th anniversary of the completion of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area and the year of China ASEAN digital economic cooperation. With these two major backgrounds in mind, the China ASEAN Expo demonstrates new business opportunities and promotes the" belt and road "economic and trade cooperation in a pragmatic manner. There are 5400 physical exhibition booths in this Expo, with a total area of 104000 square meters, including 19000 square meters of exhibition space in ASEAN and other regions. At the same time, it launched the "cloud China Expo." Wang Lei, Secretary General of the China ASEAN Expo Secretariat, said at the closing meeting.

According to reports, a total of 1668 enterprises participated in the physical exhibition of the Expo, including Huawei, a number of world top 500 and well-known enterprises. 22 countries along the belt and road and 108 enterprises participated in the physical exhibition. A total of 1956 enterprises participated in the fair, of which 21% were foreign exhibitors. 84 purchasing groups from home and abroad attended the meeting online and offline. 154 online and offline economic and trade activities were held in this Expo.

Wang Lei introduced that the scale and quality of the projects signed this year's China ASEAN Expo reached a new high. A total of 86 international and domestic investment and cooperation projects were signed, and the scale of cooperation projects reached a record high. In addition, the Expo has also promoted cooperation in key areas, such as the construction of a new land and sea channel, the construction of China (Guangxi) pilot Free Trade Zone, the docking of ASEAN market with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the construction of financial opening portal for ASEAN, the construction of China ASEAN information port, and China ASEAN cooperation in health and epidemic prevention.
