The first (Dandong, China) fashion week 2020 and cooperation Fair for development of protective textile industry will open on December 5. It was found that these enterprises had the equipment for producing protective clothing and isolation clothing and sufficient skilled workers, while the lack of production factors included testing equipment, raw materials, production qualification, etc.

Crisis means opportunity. With the full support and cooperation of the municipal Party committee, the municipal government and relevant departments, in just one month, Dandong Huayang textile, Da'an protective products, Dandong haihegu clothing and Dandong Languang garment have produced qualified medical protective clothing. This not only reflects the excellent transformation and upgrading ability of Dandong enterprises, but also reflects the efficient and rapid organization and coordination ability and good business environment of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government.

Third rate enterprises sell products, first-class enterprises sell standards. Haihegu and Da'an, two enterprises in our city, took the initiative to put forward a number of rationalization suggestions to the Standardization Association of Guangdong Province and were adopted. Soon, the relevant group standards were formulated and implemented. Most of the 30 enterprises participating in the formulation of the standard are from Guangdong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, and only Dandong two enterprises in Northeast China are shortlisted. The industry insiders praise them for fully proving the level and advantages of Dandong protective clothing production enterprises. The introduction of this group standard will bring new development opportunities for Dandong protective clothing manufacturers.

The person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology said that in the face of the opportunity, Dandong Textile and garment enterprises clenched their fingers into fists, changing the state of fighting alone in the past. This year, at the international medical equipment exhibition and medical protective equipment exhibition held in Shanghai, Beijing and other places, many enterprises in our city formed an alliance to participate in the exhibition, which improved the overall influence of Dandong protective clothing industry.

At present, 54 of the 374 garment enterprises in our city have obtained the production procedures for class I medical equipment and equipment, forming a production capacity of 500000 pieces of isolation clothing and 100000 pieces of medical protective clothing per day. There are 117 enterprises that have joined the industrial cluster of protective clothing. Hundreds of millions of protective clothing and isolation clothing have been sold from Dandong to all over the world. Dandong has become the largest production base of protective clothing in Northeast China.

After winning the title of "China's famous outdoor sports clothing (industry) city" in 2016, it will become a reality that our city actively applies for the title of "China famous city of protective textiles".

Not long ago, at the "Jiangnan International Fashion Week" in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, and China (Dalian) international clothing and Textile Expo, the new Chinese style clothing of Dandong Tang people's clothing brand "Gutang Dongyun" served as the opening show. This is the first time that our city's independent clothing brands have won the opening debut opportunity at the national clothing Expo, marking that Dandong's independent clothing brands have begun to move to the whole country.

"Originally, our enterprise mainly produced Korean clothing and new Chinese style clothing for export. Due to the epidemic situation this year, the export was not smooth. Therefore, we focused on the domestic market to develop and design new Chinese style clothing, but we didn't expect that it would become popular in a flash." Du Gang, chairman of Dandong Tangren Clothing Co., Ltd., told reporters that at present, the company is making every effort to create its own brand of "Gutang Dongyun" series of clothing. Dandong experience store is about to open. In the future, "Gutang Dongyun" will be promoted to the whole country and even the world.

Dandong Huayang textile and Garment Co., Ltd. has also made great achievements. The company successfully acquired Delahaye, a 73 year old French men's business brand. "We used to manufacture for Delahaye, but this year we seized the opportunity to acquire this brand. We will hold a men's fashion trend conference at this Dandong "fashion week." It is understood that since the second half of 2019, Dandong Textile and garment industry has set off an upsurge of investment. As of August this year, there are 374 registered textile and garment enterprises in the city, including 41 Enterprises above designated size. In 2019, textile and garment enterprises above Designated Size account for 11% of the total number of Enterprises above Designated Size in the city, and the total industrial output value is 2.343 billion yuan.

Deng Feixiong, executive chairman of Singapore Dandong Textile and Garment Association, who has invested in Dandong for 32 years, explains that Dandong has a deep foundation of light and textile industry, which is also his original intention to invest in Dandong in 1988. Although there are some difficulties in the development in recent years, with the government increasing the overall planning and investment in the textile and clothing industry, and Dandong entrepreneurs through "going out and introducing", the textile and garment industry in Dandong has taken the first step of transformation and upgrading.
