Changshu Released 10 Printing And Dyeing Functional Agglomeration (Medium) Areas, Of Which 6 Are Expansion Gathering Areas And 4 Are Integration And Upgrading Areas

Changshu textile and garment industry has a long history and has made great contributions to the economic and social development and the improvement of people's life. It is one of the three pillar industries with 100 billion level in Changshu, and the printing and dyeing industry is an indispensable important link in the textile industry chain and value chain.

The water pollution prevention and control regulations of Taihu Lake in Jiangsu Province (revised in 2018) was officially implemented on May 1, 2018, which broke through the original prohibitive requirements and allowed the reconstruction of printing and dyeing projects. In order to seize the opportunity, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the printing and dyeing industry, and serve the high-quality development of the economy, Changshu established the high-quality development committee of printing and dyeing industry (hereinafter referred to as the printing and dyeing special committee), and took the lead in compiling the special plan for the development of printing and dyeing industry in Changshu (2020-2030).

Ten industrial agglomeration (middle) areas with printing and dyeing function orientation are planned, including 6 expansion agglomeration areas and 4 integration promotion areas.

All "reconstruction printing and dyeing projects" must enter the printing and dyeing industry cluster area with planned distribution. After three years of efforts, the city's printing and dyeing capacity has been concentrated, and the production process, equipment and facilities, and pollution control technology to be adopted in the "reconstruction of printing and dyeing project" need to reach the international advanced level.

The special plan for the development of printing and dyeing industry in Changshu was officially released

On October 19, 2020, Jiangsu Provincial Department of ecological environment hosted the review meeting of environmental impact report of Changshu printing and dyeing industry development special plan (hereinafter referred to as the report) in Nanjing.

Representatives from the provincial development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of industry and information technology, the Provincial Department of natural resources, the Provincial Ecological Environment Assessment Center, Suzhou Ecological Environment Bureau, Changshu printing and dyeing industry high quality development professional committee, Changshu Bureau of industry and information technology, Jiangsu Environmental Science Research Institute and other units and 5 specially invited experts attended the meeting. A total of 10 representatives and experts from relevant departments constitute the review group. The review group listened to the report on the special development plan of Changshu printing and dyeing industry and the main contents of the report. After careful discussion, the review opinions were formed.

The environmental impact report of Changshu printing and dyeing industry development special plan passed the audit

At present, the environmental impact report on the overall development plan of Changshu industrial cluster (middle) zone has been completed and entered the review process of Suzhou ecological environment bureau. The planning and environmental impact assessment work undertaken at the municipal level has basically ended, marking the high-quality development of printing and dyeing enterprises has entered the comprehensive action stage.

In order to better promote the comprehensive investigation and treatment of environmental problems of printing and dyeing enterprises in the whole city, according to the relevant arrangements of "Changshu printing and dyeing enterprises environmental problems investigation and treatment work plan", recently, Changshu Ecological Environment Bureau, together with the environmental protection offices (sections) of towns (streets and development zones), divided into five routes, carried out "look back" mutual inspection action on some printing and dyeing enterprises in the city, and urged relevant enterprises We will accelerate the completion of rectification tasks.

On November 17, Changshu held a meeting on major investigation and rectification of outstanding environmental problems in the printing and dyeing industry. At the meeting, vice mayor Xu Haidong asked everyone to carry out the large-scale investigation and rectification of environmental problems in the printing and dyeing industry with the greatest determination and the most practical measures, so as to lay a solid and strong foundation for promoting the high-quality development of the printing and dyeing industry in our city and winning the battle of pollution prevention and control.

On November 3, deputy mayor Xu Haidong, main leaders and leaders in charge of Changshu Ecological Environment Bureau supervised the investigation and rectification of various sectors, and required to continue to do a good job in the investigation and rectification work, so as to further enhance the main responsibility of enterprises for ecological and environmental protection. The on-site inspection must strictly enforce the law and force enterprises to make comprehensive rectification. At the same time, we should make full use of the linkage mechanism of emergency, environmental protection and fire protection, and integrate safety production into the great renovation.

On November 20, Changshu ecological environment bureau held a working meeting on the investigation and rectification stage of printing and dyeing enterprises, reporting the progress of investigation and rectification work of printing and dyeing enterprises in the early stage, and pointed out the problems in the investigation and rectification work. Director Wang Xiaodong required that in the investigation and rectification work of printing and dyeing enterprises, we should make concerted efforts to form a situation of strict control; we should make clear the goal, vigorously and orderly promote the work; we should crack down on illegal activities according to the law and regulations.
