In November, the national purchase of seed cotton was coming to an end, and the purchase price was slightly higher than that of last month. The average purchase price of 3128 grade seed cotton of China's 400 type cotton processing enterprises was 6.69 yuan / kg, up 2.76% month on month and 21.64% year on year. As of November 30, Xinjiang cotton acquisition was basically completed, and the processing was still continuing. The total lint processing volume was about 3.7512 million tons, an increase of 7.51% year-on-year. Affected by many factors, the quality of new cotton decreased greatly, the purchase price rose, the processing cost increased, and the sales pressure of enterprises increased. The purchase price of seed cotton in the mainland has fallen down, and some cotton farmers are still reluctant to sell.

1、 The purchase price rose by a large margin

According to statistics, the average price of lint cotton increased by RMB 376.64/kg on a year-on-year basis, with an average price of RMB 376.64/kg. Among them, the purchase price of Xinjiang seed cotton was 6.69 yuan / kg, up 3.72% month on month and 23.66% year-on-year; the purchase price of seed cotton in the Yangtze River Basin was 6.56 yuan / kg, down 1.35% month on month, up 12.91% year on year; the purchase price in the yellow River Basin was 6.85 yuan / kg, down 3.93% month on month, up 9.08% year on year.

2、 New cotton processing capacity increased year on year

In November, the purchase and processing volume of new cotton increased year on year. As of November 30, the total processing capacity of 978 400 cotton processing enterprises was about 3.7512 million tons, an increase of 7.51% year-on-year. This year, Xinjiang's cotton processing production lines have been greatly increased, and the processing capacity is surplus. According to statistics, there are 914 enterprises involved in the acquisition of processing enterprises in Xinjiang, an increase of 101 compared with last year, including 32 in the autonomous region and 69 in the XPCC. The total processing capacity is about 3.6893 million tons, an increase of 7.33% year on year; Among them, the local cotton processing capacity was 2.2504 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 3.91%, and that of the Corps was 1.4389 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 13.16%. The total processing capacity of the mainland was only 61900 tons, up 19.32% year on year.

3、 The quality indexes of new cotton decreased greatly

In the early stage of cotton acquisition, cotton processing speed has been accelerated, and some cotton picking speed has been accelerated due to factors such as cotton picking speed up in the early stage and cotton picking speed up. According to the cotton public inspection data, as of November 30, the national cotton inspection volume was about 14.0732 million bales, 3.1804 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.39%, including 3.6151 million tons of Xinjiang cotton, a year-on-year increase of 10.28%, accounting for 98.62%; and 44300 tons of mainland cotton, a year-on-year decrease of 30.57%, accounting for 1.38%. The quality indexes of new cotton were lower than last year, of which white cotton grade 3 and above accounted for 81.9%, 1.8 percentage points lower than that of last year; fiber length of 28mm and above accounted for 78.33%, 14.66 percentage points lower than that of last year; micronaire value a + B (3.5-4.9) accounted for 65.06%, 13.68 percentage points lower than that of last year; specific strength S2 (29.0-30.9) and above accounted for 21.59%, 16.96 percentage points lower than the same period of last year.
