Burmese President Wen Min And Senior Minister Aung San Suu Kyi Were Detained By The Military
Myanmar's president Wen Min, senior State Minister Aung San Suu Kyi and some senior NLD officials were detained by the military in the early morning of the same day, said Miaoyu, spokesman of Myanmar's Ruling Party National League for Democracy (NLD).
It is understood that Myanmar state television has no signal and can not watch it. Communication with the outside world in Naypyidaw, the capital, was interrupted.
Recently, Myanmar's military and the NLD have disagreed on the results of last year's general election.
