Market Movement: State Polyester Head Factory Accelerates Layout

In recent years, the production capacity of domestic polyester industry has been significantly accelerated, and the capacity concentration of domestic polyester industry has been continuously improved.

In recent years, the domestic pet industry's leading enterprises, due to their strong capital strength and obvious cost advantage of industrial chain integration, have begun to speed up the production capacity layout in the domestic polyester industry. Under the situation of more and more obvious capacity concentration, the leading enterprises in the polyester industry have a stronger voice. According to Longzhong data, in 2018, the production capacity of the top ten polyester factories in China's polyester industry totaled 30.19 million tons / year, accounting for 54.49% of the total domestic polyester production capacity. After concentrated production in recent years, up to now, the production capacity of the top 10 polyester factories in the domestic polyester industry has reached 38.185 million tons / year, and the production capacity accounted for more than 60% of the total domestic polyester production capacity.

From the perspective of specific enterprises, Hengyi, Tongkun, xinfengming, Sanfangxiang, Hengli and Shenghong are in the forefront of domestic production speed in recent years, and the proportion of polyester production capacity put into production by these six polyester factories in China is also increasing. The polyester production capacity of Hengyi (excluding Yisheng) is close to 8 million tons / year, and will be further expanded in the year. The proportion of the production capacity of the six major polyester plants is close to 62% of the total domestic production capacity this year.

And mainstream enterprises are also deepening in the polyester industry chain upstream and downstream in other areas of expansion. In terms of polyester products, Fengming's PET staple fiber project will be put into production within the year. In the later period of Tongkun, there is also a production plan in the staple fiber industry. On the bottle chip, Hengli's bottle chip project has been set up. In terms of BOPET, Tongkun and xinfengming are about to enter this field.
