Huawei'S "Counterattack" Of Government And Enterprise Market: Six Ecological Leaps Over "New Digital Divide"
? ? ? ? From May 17 to 18, Xu Zhijun, chairman of Huawei in turn, expounded Huawei's digital strategy and enterprise business planning at the 2021 Huawei China ecological conference.
"In 2011, Huawei established BG, an enterprise for government and enterprise customers, and it has been 10 years since Huawei established BG," he said. With the support of many partners, the revenue of Huawei's enterprise business in 2020 will surpass 100 billion RMB and reach 100.3 billion RMB. "
In fact, after encountering multiple sanctions, BG has become an important growth point for Huawei, and its business itself is also the third business segment in Huawei's revenue. It accelerates the expansion of b-end business and supplies Huawei with food.
Since last year, Huawei has been increasing the digital market of government and enterprises. The digital transformation process of government affairs and all walks of life is inseparable from ICT infrastructure, and Huawei has participated in it early. This year, the "fourteenth five year plan" also clearly points out that to speed up digital development and build a digital China, the domestic digital opportunities are self-evident.
In the face of the blue ocean, Huawei has set new goals. Wu Hui, President of Huawei's China government and enterprise business, said: "by 2025, Huawei's revenue target for Chinese government and enterprise will reach 260 billion yuan."
Two changes to meet digital challenges
Xu Zhijun said that according to the data in 2019, China's digital economy accounted for 36% of GDP, slightly lower than the global average of 41.5%. We have seen a huge space for development, but on the other hand, although the digitization of Chinese enterprises has a certain foundation, it is still far from mature. According to the survey of Tsinghua University, 39% of enterprises have vague digital strategic planning, 48% of enterprises have not made clear organizational structure adjustment, and 75% of enterprises have not applied artificial intelligence.
Huawei also found that government and enterprise customers are facing the challenge of "new digital divide". On the one hand, it is the gap between the industry and informatization and digitization; on the other hand, it is the gap between digital penetration rate and development gap from individuals to organizations.
Therefore, Huawei will promote the digital transformation of the industry through two changes, Xu Zhijun said. On the one hand, Huawei will change the existing partner system to create a real capacity-based partner system, and on the other hand, it will upgrade the digital technology ecology. At the same time, he once again made clear Huawei's role: "Huawei insists on being integrated, and integrates a few projects in order to support long-term integration."
In terms of dismantling, Xu Zhijun frankly said that little progress has been made in the process of transforming into a capability based partner system. Huawei will rethink the reform, including redesigning and optimizing the evaluation and grading system, providing more opportunities for partners with strong capabilities based on evaluation, establishing process mechanisms to guarantee returns, and more incentives for partners with strong capabilities and contributions.
In terms of ecological upgrading of digital technology, Huawei has upgraded six ecologies, including Kunpeng computing, shengteng AI, Hongmeng OS, HMS core, automatic driving MDC and huaweiyun.
For example, Xu Zhijun said that 12 complete machine partners have launched Kunpeng series server and PC products. As of April this year, more than 60% of the total shipment of Kunpeng server has been delivered, and it is expected to reach more than 80% in the whole year this year; Facing 2021, Huawei's 1 + 8 equipment will be fully upgraded to Hongmeng operating system, and the overall scale is expected to exceed 200 million by the end of the year. At the same time, the third-party partners will also be fully adapted, including smart home, health equipment, travel, education and other terminal equipment will also exceed 100 million.
Huawei's public cloud business ranks second in China and is one of the five clouds in the world. Facing technology partners, Huawei cloud HDC has released the fertile land cloud innovation plan. According to the plan, Huawei will invest 100 million US dollars in 2021; HMS is also penetrating into various vertical industries. As of the first quarter of 2021, the number of global developers joining the HMS ecosystem has grown rapidly, which has exceeded 2.7 million, and the number of applications integrating HMS core has reached 134000.
Increase domestic government and enterprise market
Next, Huawei will continue to increase its investment in the digital market of domestic government and enterprises. When the overseas market is blocked, the business in China will become a key growth. At present, new digital demands of the government and enterprises are constantly emerging. From the view of the press conference, Huawei wants to integrate the ecology of multiple business lines to develop the b-end market.
At present, the digital transformation of government and enterprise industry continues to accelerate, but the transformation process is not achieved overnight. In response, he Dabing, vice president of Huawei's China government and enterprise business, said: "at present, the industry digitization can be divided into five levels: L1 informatization enhancement, L2 scene digitization, L3 business digitization, L4 data capitalization and L5 digital transformation."
In order to better meet the transformation needs of industry customers at different stages, Huawei and its partners will provide five types of services, namely, providing leading ICT technology for L1 customers, providing industry scenario product portfolio capabilities and cloud / management / edge / end architecture capabilities for L2 level customers, business cloud capabilities for L3 customers, and data capitalization capabilities for L4 customers, And promote industry standardization; Provide digital consulting and integration capabilities for L5 customers, as well as auxiliary operation capabilities.
It should be noted that the digital and intelligent services of government and enterprises involve a very wide range. It needs not only the support of the underlying hardware, but also the more "soft" solutions, that is, the software part of the b-end. In terms of hardware, there are mature infrastructure construction in China, including the original communication equipment, data center, etc., as well as some new infrastructure areas in progress. Based on the existing infrastructure, Huawei can accelerate the expansion of software applications and operating systems at the b-end, or collectively referred to as solutions. For example, the industry "agent" proposed by Huawei is a systematic solution after the combination of software and hardware.
It is reported that by 2020, more than 11000 partners have transacted with Huawei's Chinese government and enterprise business, and more than 1600 joint solutions have been released with ISV partners, and the local and municipal business has increased by 45%.
A software practitioner told the 21st century economic report: "at present, in the digital market of domestic government and enterprise, there are no solution giants such as SAP and salesforce. On the whole, domestic enterprises still innovate on the windows platform. The enterprise market needs a new paradigm and new forces to access. Huawei has its advantages, including management mode, understanding of China's market, heavy asset base, and b-end experience. "
With the addition of Huawei, whether the vertical industry's operating system, software and hardware integrated solutions can open up a new paradigm, and whether a new business model can be formed in the digital industry chain remains to be tested by the market.
