Spread The Shoe Culture Solesvy Starts Again

On June 22, solesvy, a fashion shoe community based in Vancouver, Canada, completed a $12.5 million round of financing, according to techchurch. This round of investment is led by bedrock capital, with the participation of roham gharegozlou, CEO of dapper labs, diplo, Bessemer ventures and banana capital of Turner Novak.

Solesave's current round of funding will be used to upgrade technology, increase staff and launch new products and services. It plans to expand its product range to new markets in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Singapore, Japan, Mexico and Europe this autumn. Solesave hopes to create a membership trading market, change the way members interact and buy shoes, further create community-oriented footwear content and experience, and market communication through podcasts and videos.

Solesave was founded in 2018 to provide fans with a community of carefully selected shoes. After completing the seed round financing of US $2 million at the end of last year, solesvy again received a round of financing of US $12.5 million every six months, indicating that the capital is still optimistic about the development prospects of the company. Since the seed round, the company's team has grown from 10 to 37, tripling the number of users, according to Dejan pralica, chief executive of solesave.

Unlike ordinary fashion shoe websites, solesave aims to spread the shoe culture and enable real shoe lovers to grab their favorite shoes at the selling price instead of being forced to buy shoes at a high price in the second-hand market. Currently, solesave has a subscription membership system, with a monthly fee of $33 and an annual fee of $300.
