Sanxingdui Silk Restoration Results Were First Announced, And The Silk Veil More Than 3000 Years Ago Was Uncovered

　　 On September 11, CCTV news channel broadcast a large number of cultural relics unearthed in Sanxingdui, and the silk restoration results of Sanxingdui were released for the first time.

　　 There are three kinds of fabrics in Sanxingdui: silk, Qi and woven fabrics

　　 In the Sanxingdui archaeological excavation, archaeologists found that a lot of black ashes were attached to the surface of many bronzes. The researchers found that silk protein was contained in these materials. After more than half a year's research, China Silk Museum and Sichuan Provincial Institute of archaeology jointly released the research results.

　　 After analysis, experts found that there are three kinds of fabrics in Sanxingdui: one is silk, one is Qi, and the other is woven fabric. Taking the fabric attached to a bronze ware in pit No. 8 as an example, the researchers determined that it was a kind of silk, but its color could not be verified. Even so, the researchers restored the silk fabric according to its structure.

　　 Different from the silk products unearthed from other sites, tombs and other places, Sanxingdui's "silk" appeared in front of archaeologists with another appearance, which increased the difficulty of detection.

　　 Faced with the high difficulty of detection, the detection team of China Silk Museum has used a series of combination boxing research methods, such as high-power microscope, immunological analysis, isotope research, etc.

　　 The discovery of Sanxingdui silk fabric is of great significance to the study of silk history in Sichuan and Central Plains. It also proves the countless ties between ancient Shu Kingdom and silk, which are often mentioned in literature and legend.

　　 This study fills in the silk history of Sichuan basin with archaeological evidence, pushing it to more than 3000 years ago; At the same time, different varieties of silk were found, which means that Sanxingdui was in correspondence with the Yin Ruins, and that Sanxingdui was also pluralistic and integrated with the Central Plains Civilization.
