Nantong Online Trade Fair Opens

On November 2, 2021 Nantong famous products overseas online trade fair officially opened. This exhibition is a special exhibition for North American textile and clothing. 55 foreign trade enterprises of our city participated in the exhibition, of which 24 enterprises concentrated in Nantong Foreign Trade Center.

Dynamic live broadcast, interactive negotiation... The staff of participating enterprises are carrying out all kinds of work in an orderly manner. The 24 enterprises participating in the exhibition have their own characteristics, and their products cover a number of textile and clothing categories, such as medium and high-end ready-made clothes, fabric accessories, clothing, home textile and home furnishing products. More than 200 professional purchasers from Canada, the United States, Mexico and other countries participated in the online procurement. Nantong Fumei Clothing Co., Ltd., which mainly deals in various kinds of hat accessories, has participated in offline exhibitions such as Guangzhou Fair for many times before, and online trading is the first attempt for them.

In addition to 24 on-site exhibitors, 31 enterprises participated in the online exhibition. During the exhibition period, in addition to the live exhibition, the mode of "special negotiation + continuous Exhibition" will be adopted, and the full-time online display and matching service will be carried out in the follow-up one month of the exhibition to continuously promote the textile and clothing foreign trade enterprises of our city.

In recent years, the economic and trade cooperation between Nantong and North America has been developing continuously. In 2020, the total bilateral trade between Nantong and North America will reach 38.3 billion yuan. From January to September this year, the trade volume between the two places reached 32.47 billion yuan, an increase of 22.8% over the same period last year, of which the export growth rate reached 27.6%.
