The Organizing Committee of Hainan splendid world culture week (hereinafter referred to as "Cultural Week") held a press conference in Beijing on March 22, announcing that a "Cultural Week" will be held in Haikou from March 12 to 16. The traditional spinning, dyeing, weaving and embroidery of Li nationality was listed in the first batch of "intangible cultural heritage list in urgent need of protection" by UNESCO in 2009.

The splendid Hainan plate focuses on the representative works of "Li nationality's traditional spinning, dyeing, weaving and embroidery techniques", as well as the intangible cultural heritage projects that Huang Daopo studied and passed on for 40 years in Yazhou, Hainan Province, and improved textile tools, which had an important impact on the cotton textile industry in the Yangtze River Basin.
