Liu Fengyun introduced that after more than 40 years of development, Ordos cashmere industry from scratch, from small to large, from low to high, gradually build a complete chain of characteristic industrial clusters in the upper, middle and lower reaches, creating the brand name card of "China cashmere city". The annual output of cashmere in Ordos City is 3300 tons, and the production capacity of cashmere products accounts for 1 / 2 of the national and 2 / 5 of the world.

Jia Zhanrong, President of the Erdos Council for the promotion of international trade, disclosed that after more than 40 years of development, large enterprises led by Erdos Cashmere Group have begun to accelerate the process of brand internationalization, forming a cashmere deep processing base with Inner Mongolia as the main raw material. The industrial chain has developed from a single cashmere sweater processing to a full range of cashmere products and clothing processing, It has formed a complete industrial chain and made important contributions to the local economic development and employment.

According to official data, at present, there are 361 cashmere enterprises in the city, including 65 large-scale processing enterprises with more than 20000 employees. The annual production of various cashmere products is 17 million pieces, cashmere yarn is 2500 tons and cashmere is 2000 tons.

"Let resource elements flow in the cashmere field."
