Technicians carefully debug the machine aside, so that the machine can enter the best state in the shortest time, so as to meet a steady stream of orders and make a good start for this year's production.

It not only has the natural resource conditions suitable for cotton growth, but also has the industrial foundation for the sustainable and healthy development of the cotton industry.

Over the years, the region has been based on resource endowments and regional advantages, focusing on Aksu Textile Industrial City (Development Zone), adhering to the development of the whole industrial chain, making efforts in extending, strengthening and supplementing the industrial chain, and gradually improving the whole industrial chain of "spinning - weaving - printing and dyeing - home textile - clothing", forming a cohesive advantage.

In addition, based on the scale of the existing textile and clothing industry, the region vigorously promotes the optimization and upgrading of the textile and clothing industry, implements targeted investment attraction, and strengthens the chain reaction to form a "one city, three parks" cluster development pattern of the textile and clothing industry, with Aksu Textile Industrial City (Development Zone) as the core, Shaya, Kuche, and Awati counties (cities) as the auxiliary, The textile and clothing industry has grown steadily.

Su Xiaoling, Deputy Director of the Regional Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that, according to the plan of improving and strengthening the textile and clothing industry cluster proposed in the theme report of the 2023 prefectural party committee (expansion) meeting, in the future, the region will promote the textile and clothing industry to transform from a single cotton raw material path to a diversified raw material path represented by cotton and chemical fiber, and enhance the elasticity and toughness of the industrial chain supply chain. At the same time, we will implement various policies and measures to support the development of the textile and clothing industry in the Lhasa Autonomous Region and regions, help enterprises to bail out, promote the development of two key industries, printing and dyeing and chemical fiber, inject new vitality into the industrial development, and further promote the development of the whole industrial chain of textile and clothing.
