The National Textile And Garment Park Work Conference Will Be Held In Santai County

In recent years, the domestic textile industry has further promoted the domestic coordinated layout in the new development pattern of double circulation, and the development of the textile industry in the central and western regions has also ushered in a major opportunity. Santai County, based on its own advantages, vigorously develops industries such as textile and clothing, gives full play to its important role in attracting employment, increasing income, and contributing to output value, and has formed a relatively complete textile and clothing industry chain.

At present, Santai County has more than 50 textile and footwear enterprises, with an annual output value of more than 6 billion yuan, and this year's output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan. The special clothing industrial park of Santai County, which was awarded as Mianyang municipal characteristic (professional) park, was selected as one of the first batch of "5+1" key characteristic parks in Sichuan Province, and successfully created the only "functional professional clothing (tooling) base" in Sichuan Province, which can be regarded as a benchmark and model for the construction of western textile and clothing parks. In order to promote the high-quality development of the national textile and clothing industrial parks, further play the important role of the parks in the transfer of the national textile industry, and promote the development of regional textile industry agglomeration. The "2023 National Textile and Garment Industrial Park Work Conference", sponsored by the China Textile Industry Federation and undertaken by the China Textile Industry Federation Industrial Park Work Office and Santai County People's Government, will be held in Santai County, Sichuan Province. With the theme of "accelerating the green transformation and promoting the quality and efficiency of the park", the conference focused on the overall idea of the country's green development, discussed the new direction and new path of green and low-carbon transformation and development of the park and enterprises, and created a new situation for the development of the regional textile industry.
