In order to fully implement the new development concept, respond to the high-quality development deployment of the country, province and city, inherit and carry forward the outstanding traditional culture of Lingnan and Guangzhou fashion art characteristics, and carefully cultivate high-quality technical talents with craftsmanship spirit in the fashion culture and creativity category serving the economic development of the Bay Area, As the highlight of 2023 Guangdong Fashion Week - Spring - Guangzhou Fashion Art Design Vocational Education Group Summit Forum and 2023 Guangzhou Textile and Clothing Vocational School Students' Outstanding Works Exhibition Activity was successfully held in the Pearl River Eye Studio of Guangzhou International Media Port.

This activity was concerned by all walks of life in Guangdong Province. Guangzhou Education Bureau End of Service Division Guangdong Garment Industry Association Leaders and teachers of more than 30 vocational colleges, secondary vocational schools and middle schools in the province, leaders of nearly 60 industries and enterprises, and leaders of Guangzhou Textile and Clothing Vocational School More than 500 people, including teachers, students' parents and student representatives, participated in this activity.

The summit forum of Guangzhou Fashion Art Design Vocational Education Group was presided over by Comrade Lu Jingchao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangzhou Textile and Clothing Vocational School.

Before the event, Fang Changming, a second level researcher from the End of Service Department of Guangzhou Education Bureau, delivered a speech. Focusing on the theme of "Fashion Art and Vocational Education Development", the forum invited four leading figures in the fashion art design industry from France, Israel, Shenzhen and other fashion industry companies to have a wonderful and high gold content topic sharing.

Mr. Zhang Zhaolin, Director of Browzwear 3D Bulovi Technology in Israel, shared the special topic "Is * * marketing the future of online shopping? What prerequisites should be met?". 　　

Zora B. Gerault, the international dean of ESMOD Guangzhou French Institute of Fashion Design, shared the topic of Innovative Teaching to Cultivate Tomorrow's Talents.

In order to further optimize the layout of specialty structure, focus on the construction of specialty connotation, enrich the talent think tank, and accelerate the pace of the school on the road of high-quality development, Guangzhou Textile University has specially hired 9 experts in different fields as its professional construction consultants. Lu Jingchao, secretary of Guangzhou Textile School, and Huang Suhuan, president of Guangzhou Textile School, issued appointment letters to 9 expert consultants including national intangible cultural heritage masters, national arts and crafts masters, and Zhang Minhui, the winner of State Council subsidies.

2023 Guangzhou Textile and Garment Vocational School Students' Outstanding Works Exhibition

After the wonderful summit forum, students majoring in fashion performance of Guangzhou Textile and Clothing Vocational School used their professional T platform expression to perform the graduation design of students majoring in fashion design.

The costume works of this exhibition are the 2023 "ingenuity ? bloom" creative series of traditional costumes created by the team of teachers and students of Guangzhou Textile School who deeply studied Lingnan culture, repositioned and integrated traditional costume elements, combined fashion and young people's aesthetic attitudes, and diversified exchanges and integration with modern society.

The series of works is divided into five parts: the National Dynasty - the Yuan Dynasty - inheritance - innovation - dress. The work inherits the intangible cultural heritage skills of Lingnan clothing, and uses traditional fabrics and skills such as fragrant cloud gauze, hanging dyeing, and Guangzhou embroidery in the design, presenting the visual effect of going abroad, fashion, and youth.
