In March, the production of China's textile industry picked up steadily. Orders were mainly short and small, and the sustainability was insufficient. On the whole, China's spinning and weaving enterprises have a good startup rate. Domestic cotton prices fell in shock, and textile enterprises replenished raw material inventory on bargain hunting. According to the survey of more than 90 designated textile enterprises in China by the China Cotton Early Warning System, the textile industry output increased this month, and the inventory of finished products and raw materials were both Slight increase.

Among them, in March, yarn output increased by 8.6% month on month and 1.1% year on year. Cloth production increased by 6.5% month on month and 1.7% year on year.

Over the same period, the enterprise's raw material inventory increased slightly. In March, the startup rate of Chinese textile enterprises was stable, and short-term orders were sufficient, but the sustainability was insufficient. As of March 31, the cotton industrial inventory of textile enterprises in the warehouse was 696100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 31600 tons.

In addition, the use of Xinjiang cotton by Chinese textile enterprises accounted for 87.86% of the total cotton consumption, an increase of 1.08 percentage points over the previous month and 2.71 percentage points over the previous year.
