China Chemical Fiber Industry Association: Review Meeting Of Chemical Fiber Standards Held In Harbin
From July 4 to 6, the National Technical Committee for Chemical Fiber Standardization (SAC/TC586) held a review meeting in Harbin, Heilongjiang. Nearly 90 members and industry experts from China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, Shanghai Textile Industry Technology Supervision Institute, National Chemical Fiber Standardization Technology Committee and Standardization Technology Committee of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association attended the meeting.
The committee members and experts at the meeting carefully discussed various standards, fully discussed the key technical issues involved in the standards, reviewed and passed 13 standards, including one national standard, Determination of Heavy Metal Content in Chemical Fibers Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometry and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry, One national standard, Test Method for Fiber Grade Polyester (PET) Chips in foreign language, seven industrial standards, Determination of Pulp Reactivity for Regenerated Cellulose Fiber, Antimony free Polyester Staple Fiber, Polyester Coarse Single Fiber Drafting Filament, Fiber Grade Recycled Polycaprolactam (PA6) Chips, Recycled Nylon 6 Pre oriented Filament Recycle and Reuse of Nylon 6 Elastic Filament, Recycle and Reuse of Nylon 6 Drafting Filament, two line standard foreign language versions of Alginate Short Fiber and High Strength and High Modulus Polyvinyl Alcohol Ultrashort Fiber, and two group standards of Ultra High Strength Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Filament for Bulletproof and Glycyrrhiza Modified Viscose Short Fiber.
Among them, the national standard Determination of Heavy Metal Content in Chemical Fiber Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry has become the focus of attention. According to the characteristics of chemical fibers, this standard proposes the methods of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry to determine the content of lead (Pb), copper (Cu), titanium (Ti), zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), silver (Ag) heavy metals in chemical fibers. Other heavy metal elements shall be used as reference. Through careful discussion, experts reached a consensus on key contents such as test parameters.
In order to standardize and guide the healthy development of the recycling nylon 6 industry, the Technical Committee organized several major domestic production units to take the lead in formulating product standards for recycling nylon 6 chips, pre oriented yarns, stretch yarns, and drafting yarns, and stipulated technical indicators for recycling nylon 6 products, which can be generally consistent with the original nylon 6.
In addition, the development of a foreign language version of one national standard and two industrial standards will also further promote the internationalization process of China's chemical fiber standards. In particular, the foreign language version of the chemical fiber national standard is the first time to be carried out. Many difficulties have been overcome in the drafting process, and a breakthrough has been achieved from zero to some.
The preparation and revision of the standard is conducive to standardizing and unifying the quality standards of China's chemical fiber products, improving the production management level of enterprises, further promoting technical exchanges and common progress among enterprises, and guiding the orderly and healthy development of the industry. It has an important value orientation for adjusting the structural upgrading of the chemical fiber industry, promoting functional, green and environmentally friendly chemical fibers, and promoting the green development of the chemical fiber industry.
