The Textile And Clothing (Quanzhou) Innovation Base Of "Science And Innovation In China" Was Selected

A few days ago, the official website of the China Association for Science and Technology announced the list of 2023 "Science and Technology Innovation China" innovation base demonstration projects. Relying on the "Science and Technology Innovation China" textile and clothing (Quanzhou) innovation base of Shishi China Textile Clothing and Accessories Industry Research Institute, it was successfully selected, which is one of the 25 industry university research cooperation innovation bases that won the project approval nationwide, It is also the only demonstration project in Fujian Province that has been selected as the "Science and Technology Innovation China" innovation base.

The innovation base is a cooperation carrier for the Chinese Association for Science and Technology to promote the collaborative innovation of industry, university and research and the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and a platform to undertake the sinking and convergence of various resources of "science and technology innovation China". It is divided into three types: industry, university and research collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship incubation, and international innovation cooperation. Among them, the industry university research cooperation innovation base focuses on key core technology fields, organizes teams to gather to tackle key problems, and explores the sustainable cooperation mechanism of industry university research. According to the provisions of the management measures, the innovation base will be constructed relying on innovative enterprises, key universities, research institutes, new research and development institutions, industrial technology research institutes, innovation and entrepreneurship incubation parks, etc.

Shishi Zhongfang Clothing and Accessories Industry Research Institute is a collaborative innovation platform of textile science and technology set up by China Textile Engineering Society in local industrial clusters, which is enterprise oriented, market-oriented, and combines production, learning, research and application. Since its establishment, the Institute has served more than 70 enterprises, carried out more than 400 technical docking and consulting services, signed more than 20 technical cooperation agreements, carried out more than 40 technical exchanges and trainings, and participated in more than 1000 enterprises. It is worth mentioning that the Institute has successively participated in more than 10 national, provincial and municipal science and technology projects, applied for more than 20 national invention patents, and was responsible for and participated in the formulation of more than 10 industry related standards, gaining more voice for Shishi and even Quanzhou's textile and clothing industry.
