Recently, Handan Miansan Textile Industrial Site was successfully rated as the first batch of municipal industrial heritage in Handan. As a restructuring after the policy bankruptcy of Miansan, Zhuobong Company, established in August 2014, undertook the management services of more than 6200 retired employees, 589 "co insurance" employees and the resettlement of more than 150 restructured employees of the original enterprise, and was responsible for the asset management and operation, as well as the handling of the remaining affairs of Miansan bankruptcy. In recent years, Zhuobong has made a series of fruitful explorations in the bankruptcy and reorganization of state-owned enterprises, and the protection and development of Miansan Industrial Site is one of the highlights.

Handan is one of the five major cotton textile industrial bases built during the "First Five Year Plan" period. In the past, the Second Textile Machinery Factory, Weaving and Dyeing Factory, the Second National Cotton Factory, the Third National Cotton Factory, the Fourth National Cotton Factory, Silk Factory, and Printing and Dyeing Factory were lined up on the same road, so this road was named Lianfang Road. At its peak, Handan cotton produced 20000 tons of cotton yarn, 60 million meters of grey cloth, 350 million yuan of annual output value, 35 million dollars of foreign exchange earnings from exports, and 45 million yuan of profits and taxes in three years. Its advanced experience was known to major textile enterprises in the province and China, and textile enterprises from all over the country came to Miansan to visit and learn. In the 1980s, the economic benefits of the factory ranked first in the textile industry of our city for a long time, and it is a benchmark enterprise in the textile industry of Handan.

In addition to strengthening the industry, Miansan actively responded to the government's call to participate in social construction. In 1961, 1700 employees were transferred to support the construction of Yuecheng Reservoir; In 1962, it assisted North Korea in building Pyongyang Textile Factory and Sinuiju Textile Factory to develop North Korea's textile industry; From 1969 to 1972, successively sent many groups of personnel to support Syria, Sri Lanka and other countries to build textile factories; In 1975, he actively participated in the construction of Yuefeng Canal Water Diversion Project in our city; In 1976, the whole plant carried out the activity of supporting Tangshan earthquake relief to make up for the shortage with plenty

At the same time, Miansan has received the attention of provincial, municipal and even national leaders. In 1959, when Chairman Mao Zedong inspected Handan, he received representatives of Miansan workers. In 1961, Premier Zhou Enlai visited Miansan personally. National leaders Nie Rongzhen, Rong Yiren, Qiao Shi, as well as major leaders of the Ministry of Textile Industry and the Provincial Party Committee have visited Miansan for many times. On September 19, 1991, General Secretary Jiang Zemin inspected the Third Cotton Company, went to the workshop to visit the textile workers, had a discussion with the company's leaders and workers' representatives, and asked them to do a good job in the enterprise and the workers' life.

The textile industry was once an important pillar industry in Handan. In the 1960s and 1970s, one-third of the city's financial revenue came from the contribution of the textile industry. Miansan, as a benchmark of efficiency, has made great contributions to the economic development of our city. In the past, the salary level and housing conditions of Miansan employees were at the top level of Handan City. At the end of 1985, Miansan had 70 residential buildings for employees, and the employees of the enterprise had strong centripetal force and pride.

Many technicians, managers and workers of Miansan come from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Shijiazhuang and other big cities. Among them, Tianjin "Tongshenghe" Textile Factory was reorganized and relocated to Miansan in 1966. Most of its staff settled down in Handan, so Miansan was also an integration place of multicultural integration, once leading the fashion of food and clothing in Handan.

The former main building of Miansan Industrial Site is grand and solemn, and the zigzag workshop of the textile workshop is derived from the German Bauhaus style, which is simple and practical. There is an existing quadrangle "mother and child building", whose original purpose is to provide a turnover room for lactating women workers on duty. Its unique design of the "back" shape not only maximizes the floor area ratio, but also highlights the communication and sharing among neighbors, while ensuring good lighting and ventilation, becoming a clocking place for "dithering" in recent years.

At the end of the last century, as a traditional labor-intensive industry, state-owned textile mills gradually emerged tired under the impact of the market tide, and the efficiency and survival crisis emerged. After more than ten years of breakthrough and pain, Miansan, who has experienced 56 years of trials and hardships, implemented policy bankruptcy in 2012. Today, on Lianfang Road, the factory building where only Miansan has been reserved seems to be telling pedestrians about the glory of Handan textile industry in the past. Among them, it is the support of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and the efforts of Zhuobong Company that make this industrial site of Handan textile industry be fortunately preserved - it not only condenses the memory of a city's development history, but also carries the feelings and sustenance of generations of textile workers.

Inside and outside the gate, the photo studio, coffee shop, restaurant, tavern, gallery, fashion shop and other shops are orderly located, and a fashionable business atmosphere is coming. "Time Park is a cultural and creative business project jointly developed by ZhuoBang Company and Hebei ZhuoEr Company based on Miansan Industrial Site. It plans to invest 50 million yuan to build a cultural and creative business circle integrating catering, entertainment, leisure, shopping, calligraphy and painting, fitness, and night market, and integrating new and old impressions. Up to now, the investment has reached nearly 30 million yuan, and the atmosphere of the cultural and creative business circle of Time Park has initially emerged."
