In August, The Profit Of Industrial Enterprises Above Designated Size Turned Positive, And The Cumulative Profit Decline Of The Textile Industry Narrowed Significantly
According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, in August, the profits of industrial enterprises above designated size increased from a decline, up 17.2% year on year. From January to August, the total profit of industrial enterprises above designated size nationwide was 4655.82 billion yuan, down 11.7% year on year, 3.8 percentage points lower than that from January to July (calculated on a comparable basis). The manufacturing industry realized a total profit of 3298.28 billion yuan, down 13.7%. Among them, the total profit of the textile industry decreased by 15.0%, 5.3 percentage points lower than that from January to July, which is still obvious.
