This year, Aral City, the first division, planted more than 2 million mu of cotton, giving full play to the technical advantages of the "good varieties+good methods" supporting technology, doing a good job in the promotion and application of new cotton varieties breeding and satellite positioning navigation precision seeding technology, water-saving irrigation technology, and machine picking cotton technology, so that the masses can realize mechanization in the whole process of land preparation, sowing, plant protection, and harvesting.

Seed is the key to high yield of cotton. According to the demand of cotton planting in northern Xinjiang, we carried out research on excellent germplasm resources of cotton, established excellent germplasm database, and bred 10 varieties, including Xinluzao 14 and Xinluzao 43, which have the characteristics of disease resistance, high quality, and high yield.

Last year, the retroactive subsidy for cotton quality was 0.4 yuan per kilogram, and 100 mu of land was planted, with a subsidy of more than 9400 yuan, which strengthened everyone's confidence in cotton planting.

The company inspection, the factory entry inspection and the mold opening inspection shall be conducted at the "three passes", strictly control moisture and impurities, strictly prohibit the purchase of super miscellaneous cotton and super water cotton, resolutely implement the quality traceability system information management measures, make the contractor, seed cotton module information and other data one-to-one correspondence, and realize the traceability of cotton quality.

Strictly control the quality in the purchase of seed cotton, and do a good job in various services in accordance with the process of "one test and five determinations", different fiber management, variety grading stacking, sub binding, etc; Cotton blending shall be carried out according to quality traceability to ensure the length and uniformity of processed lint, reduce impurity content and improve lint quality.
