The textile industry is one of the key traditional pillar industries in Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. In 2022, Xiuzhou District will have 265 enterprises above designated size in the fashion textile industry, realizing a total industrial output value of 31.21 billion yuan above designated size, accounting for 29.17% of the total industrial output value above designated size. From January to August 2023, there will be 271 enterprises above designated size in Xiuzhou District's textile industry, achieving a total industrial output value above designated size of 20.63 billion yuan. The textile industry is mainly concentrated in Honghe, Xincheng, Wangjiangjing and Youchegang.

Xu Mingyang, Secretary of Xiuzhou District Party Committee, said that the textile industry is Xiuzhou's traditional competitive industry, which has solid foundation, sufficient toughness and good prospects. Further expansion and strengthening of textile enterprises will make Xiuzhou's high-quality development more supportive. Wangjiangjing Town, as a "famous weaving town in China", has great prospects for the development of textile industry. At present, Wangjiangjing Town is seizing the national strategy of planning and coordinating the Yangtze River Delta ecological and green integration development demonstration zone, and actively building the Yangtze River Delta integration demonstration industry highland. The layout of Wenchuan Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Zone, Textile Science Park and Liansidang Tourist Resort is also accelerating to take shape. The transformation and upgrading opportunities of the textile industry are unprecedented and promising.
