Qiu Debing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the CPPCC Sheyang County, pointed out in his speech that Sheyang's high-end textile industry has three characteristics: first, it has a long history. Since Zhang Jian, a national industrialist, reclaimed wasteland and planted cotton and set up a yarn mill in Sheyang, Sheyang's textile industry has gone through hundreds of years of hard struggle. A number of national well-known brands and trademarks, such as "Shuangshan" brand pure cotton yarn and "Zhenyang" brand plush, have been bred successively. Second, it has complete categories. Suzhou Shayin Group, Shanghai Tiqiao Company, Zhejiang Hengyuan Chemical Fiber, Shanghai Lanbang Special Fiber and other industry leading enterprises have settled down in succession, and the industrial level continues to improve, forming a whole industry chain development pattern of "spinning texturing weaving dyeing home textile and clothing". Third, it has unique advantages. Sheyang has the only professional park platform in northern Jiangsu - Yancheng Textile Dyeing and Finishing Industrial Park. The park has centralized heating, gas supply and sewage treatment to achieve full coverage. It is a national textile industry high-quality development demonstration park, China's green dyeing and finishing R&D and production base, a national intelligent dyeing and printing demonstration park, and Jiangsu textile dyeing and finishing characteristic industrial park.

Qi Qing, director of Sheyang County Major Project Promotion Service Center, said that in 2022, Sheyang's GDP will exceed 70 billion yuan, making it one of the top 100 counties in the country's county economy, business environment and comprehensive competitiveness for six consecutive years. In recent years, the traffic construction in Sheyang has been continuously improved, the expressway is seamlessly connected with Yancheng high-speed rail network, and the energy level of Sheyang Port has been rapidly improved, which is conducive to transforming local advantages and promoting industrial upgrading. Sheyang County focuses on five major outlet industries, including new energy vehicles and core parts, new energy, new generation information technology, new materials, and big health. Based on the existing industrial foundation, it focuses on promoting seven industrial chains, giving full play to the main effect of the head enterprise chain, and accelerating the building of four landmark industrial chains, namely wind power equipment, power and energy storage batteries, high-end textiles, grain, oil, fruit, and vegetable processing.

At the meeting, Lan Qinghua, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Gaofang Park, introduced the development of high-end textile industry in Gaofang Park. Yancheng Textile Dyeing and Finishing Industrial Park adheres to the development path of "modern, high-end, green and smart", focusing on high-end dyeing and finishing, extending upstream and downstream, making a rough extension of the industrial chain, and focusing on the development of textile industry with high technology content, high added value, energy conservation and environmental protection. It includes functional fibers such as fast drying, waterproof, breathable, windproof, and ultraviolet resistant fibers, organic and inorganic high-performance fibers and products, and develops chemical fiber processing capabilities such as spinning and texturing. The weaving field mainly improves the production capacity of high-grade textile fabrics; The printing and dyeing field focuses on improving and expanding the application of digital printing, screen printing and new equipment, new technology and new process. In the field of finished product manufacturing, clothing mainly develops projects focusing on product ecology, health and functionality, as well as product design and independent brand construction; In terms of home textile, we mainly develop household textile fabrics such as curtains, fabric, bedding, carpets, kitchen textiles, blankets, etc; In the field of industrial textiles, it focuses on the development of industrial textiles projects such as medical and health, packaging, safety and protection, sports and leisure, and transportation, forming a trend of industrial linkage and integrated development.

Cai Xuefeng, secretary of Qianqiu Town Party Committee, made an industry promotion. Qianqiu Town is located in the north of Sheyang County, an hour's drive from Yancheng Airport and high-speed railway station. It is the origin of Chinese famous brands "Sheyang Rice" and "Qinglong" white garlic. Qianqiu Town Small and Medium sized Enterprise Science and Technology Innovation Park has a planned area of 2000 mu, with high-end textile, machinery and electronics as the leading industries, complete infrastructure, and 11 industrial enterprises above designated size. Among them, Sheyang Linxi Textile Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive textile enterprise integrating 3D mesh weaving, household products R&D, production and sales. Jiangsu Jiarong Textile Co., Ltd. is a well-known garment production and processing enterprise in the industry. Jiangsu Hongzhu Warp and Weft Knitting Co., Ltd. is a textile enterprise focusing on the production and R&D of high-grade plush fabrics, with an annual production and sales of over 10000 tons of warp knitted fabrics.

At this promotion meeting, a total of eight projects were successfully signed, including Chunhui polyester yarn project, Yejia textile project, Jinyin textile project, Goodford precision structural parts project, Hanyou warp and weft knitting project, Jinning textile project, Geban fiber products project and Keyi textile project. The promotion meeting achieved fruitful results, injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of Sheyang County's high-end textile industry.
