Awati County, Xinjiang: Cotton Processing Enterprises Press The "Fast Forward Key" To Start Production At Full Speed

With the full completion of cotton harvesting, all cotton processing enterprises in Awati County have been rushing to meet the time and speed, busy with production at full speed, go all out to seize the market, and strive to complete the annual goals and tasks as soon as possible.

On December 14, at the ginning plant of Avati County Xinya Hongwei Cotton Industry Co., Ltd., stacks of snow-white "cotton mountains" came into sight, and vehicles loaded with cotton were orderly lined up for sale under the guidance of staff. The machines in the production workshop are roaring, and the workers are working safely and orderly on the production line.

Hu Feng, head of cotton purchase of Awati County Xinya Hongwei Cotton Industry Co., Ltd., said: "Our current focus has shifted from acquisition to processing and sales. At present, we have processed and produced 32000 tons of seed cotton, and the remaining 2000 tons are expected to be processed by the end of December this year. We will complete the processing and production tasks with quality and quantity guaranteed under the premise of ensuring safety, and provide customers with high-quality Xinjiang cotton."

Alwati County Xinya Hongwei Cotton Industry Co., Ltd. has two cotton processing production lines. It has purchased more than 34000 tons of cotton throughout the year, and has processed and produced about 14000 tons of lint. With the orderly processing of lint cotton in the factory, more than 100 people have been attracted to achieve stable employment here, allowing local residents to achieve employment and income increase at their doorstep.

Tuxunjiang Maimaiti, a villager in Huanggong Village, Duolang Township, Awati County, said, "I have been working here for more than 4 months, and my monthly salary is 4500 yuan. I will continue to work here next year if I have the opportunity to improve my economic income."

It is understood that the total cotton planting area in Awati County this year is 1.25 million mu. In order to do a good job in the purchase and processing of new cotton, the various industry departments in Awati County, based on the function of supervision and service, strictly control the safety and quality of cotton purchase, processing, storage and other links. Up to now, about 310000 tons of seed cotton have been purchased and about 73000 tons of lint have been processed.

Wang Tianyong, a cadre of the Grain and Cotton Office of Awati County Development and Reform Commission, said, "In the next step, on the premise of ensuring cotton quality and safety in production, we will continue to accelerate the production speed of each factory, go all out to catch up with production, ensure efficient and orderly cotton production, and promote high-quality development of our cotton industry."
