Serving Fujian Textile Industry, Wuhan Textile University "Went To The Countryside With Science And Technology"

On December 26, the docking meeting of "digital to intellectual transformation" of Fujian modern textile footwear and clothing industry was held in Changle District, the hub of China's textile industry with 100 billion yuan.

Wang Ning, vice minister of the United Front Work Department of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, Yu Jian, member of the Party Leadership Group and vice chairman of the Fujian Federation of Industry and Commerce, Wang Dong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Wuhan Textile University, president of the Graduate School, and representatives of more than 200 textile footwear and clothing enterprises and chambers of commerce attended. The meeting was presided over by Yu Jian, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice Chairman. At the meeting, Wang Dong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Wuhan Textile University and president of the Graduate School, released the latest scientific and technological achievements in the textile industry. When introducing, he stressed that Wuhan Textile University is a university focusing on textile and clothing design and science and engineering. The university has won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and China Textile Academic Award. The school has the ability of small molecule development, polymerization, fiber material preparation and property analysis and testing.

In recent years, Wuhan Textile University has researched and developed advanced fiber materials such as thermal wet comfort polyester fiber, lightweight hydrophobic wear-resistant polyester fiber, stimulus response color changing fiber, pressure sensing fiber and fabric. At the meeting, Wuhan Textile University signed an industry university research cooperation agreement with 361DU (China) Co., Ltd., Xintai Group, Fujian Huafeng New Material Co., Ltd., Fujian Stone New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Sailong Technology Co., Ltd., and Fujian Xinmei Knitting Co., Ltd. At the same time, it also signed the cooperation agreement of production, learning and research platform with Fujian Textile and Garment Export Base Chamber of Commerce, Fuzhou Garment Trade Association, Putian Footwear Association, Fujian Changle District Cotton Textile Association, Changle Chemical Fiber Association and Jinjiang Dyeing and Finishing Association.

At the meeting exchange stage, professor Wang Wenwen and associate professor Zhong Weibing of Wuhan Textile University gave in-depth and simple explanations on the Development and Progress of Advanced Functional Fiber Materials and Advanced Processing Technology of Digital Energized Textile Materials and Footwear. Zhao Yu, a researcher of Industrial Securities Economics and Finance Research Institute and the textile industry, made a report on the 2024 annual strategy of the textile and clothing industry. Fu Zhihong, Chairman of Chuangwilai Group Co., Ltd., introduced the company's service industry university research docking.
