On May 28, Youxi County held a conference on "Shanghai Ming Cooperation", "Mountain Sea Cooperation" and high-quality development of textile industry. At the meeting, Shanghai Longyuan Tianchi Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. signed a contract with the management committee of Youxi Economic Development Zone to jointly build a practice park of "Youxi Green Textile Technology Industrial Park" and "CDI Green Double Carbon Hundred Park Plan".

"We are seizing the opportunity of Shanghai Ming counterpart cooperation to promote the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry in Youxi County." Ruan Renyu, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Youxi Economic Development Zone, introduced that the project will build a zero carbon industrial park integrating R&D and office work, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent service, living facilities and other functions.

Since the Shanghai Ming counterpart cooperation, the green and low-carbon transformation of the textile industry in Youxi County has ushered in bursts of easterly wind.

In the afternoon of May 28, Chen Jingwei, president of Fujian Liurong Industry Co., Ltd. in Chengnan Park of Youxi Economic Development Zone, was communicating with a third-party organization to "calculate accurate and specific data" on the energy conservation and emission reduction effect of each production link of the company. Liurong is a star project introduced by Youxi County from Shanghai. Its vertically integrated intelligent factory is the first attempt of global knitting chemical fiber projects. It can realize six processes of continuous production in a single factory, namely "spinning - texturing - weaving - dyeing and finishing - printing - clothing".

This innovation in production mode not only means the improvement of production efficiency, but also the foundation for Liurong to aspire to build a green and low-carbon benchmark in the textile industry.

From yarn to garment, vertical integrated production brings "zero transfer". In the past, enterprises needed to purchase caprolactam raw materials from Kemen Port, Lianjiang, Xiuyu, Putian and other places, spin in Youxi, weave and dye in Fuqing, and then process in garment factories in Jiangsu and Guangdong.

"Logistics transportation, repeated quality inspection, standing and other links, including unpacking and unpacking of packaging, consume time, energy and energy." Chen Jingwei said, "vertical integrated production has greatly reduced the packaging loss, transportation costs and energy consumption of the balance workshop." He took the example that two balancing processes, each requiring 24 to 36 hours before fabric delivery and garment production, are now reduced to one, The reduction of workshop area and air conditioning energy consumption is a considerable figure.

At the conference on high-quality development of textile industry, Youxi County also signed the project of integration of industry and education and the project of expert workstation with the Textile College of Shanghai Donghua University. "In the dyeing and finishing process, there is a huge gap between the energy consumption and pollution discharge before and after entering the park," said Lin Feng, chairman of Dongfang Xinwei Textile Technology Co., Ltd.

Dyeing and finishing refers to the process of dyeing, printing and finishing textile materials. This process consumes a large amount of fossil energy and dye auxiliaries, and its wastewater discharge is large and polluting.

How to protect ecology and achieve high-quality industrial development?

The key lies in industrial agglomeration. In 2018, Youxi County issued the Overall Plan for Transformation and Upgrading of Youxi County's Dyeing and Finishing Industry, and convened relevant departments and enterprises to discuss the plan of "going back to the city and entering the park" for many times, giving support to enterprises in terms of speeding up the improvement of basic facilities, land concessions, capacity subsidies, entrance incentives, relocation subsidies, etc., and providing unified heating, sewage treatment upgrading, relocation subsidies A series of problems such as environmental impact assessment have been continuously tackled. In August 2022, five dyeing and finishing enterprises outside the park will be successfully relocated to the park and put into production.

"In July 2022, we closed the old factory in Shangbantou Industrial Zone, Banmian Town, and came to Chengnan Industrial Park." Lin Feng said, "Now the dyeing and finishing process is supplied by Furui Thermal Power in the park, which is more energy-saving, environmentally friendly and safe."

"You can do more at one stroke." Ruan Renyu said, "In the past, the surplus heat energy of Furui Thermoelectric was useless. Dyeing and finishing enterprises burned their own boilers, and how much energy was wasted! Now, centralized energy supply, the more enterprises enter the park, the higher the energy utilization rate."

Dyeing and finishing wastewater is also treated centrally. Lin Feng told reporters that more than 50% of the company's wastewater can be recycled, and the rest will be treated by the sewage treatment plant. In addition, the park also employs a third-party testing agency to test the wastewater, exhaust gas, noise, etc. of the enterprise every month.

A waste plastic bottle can also be recycled into yarn and clothing.

On May 28, the reporter came to Fujian Youxi Huayang Fiber Textile Technology Co., Ltd. Walking along the production line, we saw that the neatly stacked "bottle bricks" were cleaned, sorted, screened and broken into PET bottle pieces, and then dried, melted, and brushed, and the recycled environment-friendly polyester staple fiber was generated.

"The spinning link from staple fiber to recycled environment-friendly yarn has been quite mature in Youxi, and our feature is recycling and environment-friendly," said Zheng Zunrong, chairman of Huayang Fiber Textile.

After graduation, Zheng Zunrong entered his father's enterprise. He led the reform and built the province's first fully intelligent digital thick and thin networking production workshop. In 2018, he had the idea of making renewable environmental protection products. After preparation, Huayang Fiber Spinning Project will start in September 2021, with a total investment of 688 million yuan. It will build 100000 tons of recycled environmentally friendly polyester fiber and 100000 spindles of recycled environmentally friendly spinning production line. It is the first project in Youxi to produce recycled environmentally friendly polyester fiber.

"The textile industry needs to transform to green and low-carbon, the government needs to guide and support, and enterprises need to play an active role."
