    China Textile And Clothing Trade Exhibition (New York) Opens

    On July 16, New York time, 2024 China Textile and Garment Trade Exhibition (New York) and Texworld New York City, Apparel Sourcing New York City, and HTSE New York City were grandly opened in Hall 3A and 3B of Jarvitz Exhibition Center in New York. This exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Textile Industry Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Frankfurt Exhibition (North America) Co., Ltd., aiming to provide a high-end platform for global textile and clothing enterprises to display innovative achievements, explore market opportunities and promote international exchanges.

    With a total exhibition area of 20000 square meters, more than 700 enterprises from 22 countries and regions gathered together to display all kinds of yarns, fabrics and accessories, clothing and apparel, home textile fabrics and finished products. Among them, more than 500 Chinese enterprises appeared with characteristic exhibits, demonstrating the strong strength and innovative vitality of China's textile and clothing industry.

    On the morning of the first day, Consul General Huang Ping and his wife of the Chinese Consulate General in New York, Counsellor Yao Wenliang in charge of business affairs, Zhang Tao, Vice President of the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zhao Jianying, Deputy General Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in the United States, Deng Huizhen, the second level inspector of the Department of Commerce of Jiangxi Province, Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of Frankfurt Exhibition Group Textile and Textile Technology Exhibition, Constantin von Vieregge, President and General Manager of Frankfurt Exhibition (North America) Co., Ltd., and She Shihui, General Manager of Frankfurt Exhibition (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition.

    On the first day of the exhibition, the scene was crowded with people, and there was a long queue at the exhibition login. This exhibition attracted a number of heavyweight buyers in the textile and clothing industry, such as Target Macy’s、JCPENNY、Athleta、American Eagle、Ralph Lauren, It also welcomed many cross-border cooperation buyers to visit and negotiate, and the trade atmosphere in the exhibition hall was strong.


    Diversified and accurate matching of diversified market demands

    This year's China Textile and Garment Trade Fair (New York) has a variety of exhibits. Among the fabric products, knitting, sports function, woven and other categories have attracted much attention; The main clothing categories are outerwear/overcoat, knitwear/upper garment and sportswear; The home textile category focuses on bed products, carpets, bath products, etc. All kinds of products with high price and good quality occupy the leading position in the market, which can meet the diversified procurement needs of global buyers.


    Flexible and quick reaction Chinese exhibitors chain the market on demand

    At the exhibition site, more than 500 Chinese enterprises showed up with special exhibits. The repeat participation rate reached 48.4% this year. Many well-known enterprises, such as Jiangsu Guotai Huasheng Industrial Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Guotai Huasheng Industrial Co., Ltd., repeatedly participated more than 10 times, highlighting the brand effect of the exhibition.

    More and more enterprises can accept small-scale orders. This year, more than 300 enterprises were able to offer flexible quotations to take orders, accounting for about 63%; More and more enterprises have joined the environmental protection family. A total of 137 enterprises have environmental protection certificates, accounting for about 29%; In the face of the inventory situation brought about by the global fast turnaround, enterprises optimized and decomposed the sales channels through the New York Exhibition, a comprehensive platform. Nearly 110 enterprises found channel solutions on the New York Exhibition platform, accounting for about 23%. These special services fully demonstrate the flexibility and responsiveness of Chinese textile and clothing enterprises to change as needed and the advantages brought by the comprehensive strength of the New York exhibition platform.


    Inspiration and new opportunities of the Multi element Mingshi Forum

    During this New York Exhibition, more than 10 professional forums, seminars, release and exchange activities will be held. The event focused on the two themes of "future trends" and "sustainability", covering the performance of synthetic fibers, Indian handicraft protection, the impact of consumer behavior on fashion business, color trends, innovative materials and technology how to reshape the fashion industry, and other diversified issues, helping industry colleagues identify development trends and seize development opportunities.

    As a new highlight of the exhibition, Trend+service and Next Gen Materials Innovation Hub (new material innovation zone) in the color and fabric fashion trend area have many attractions. The Trend+service responds to the online purchasing trend. The exhibition cooperates with the professional fabric purchasing website Material Exchange to publish the additional samples submitted by the exhibitors on the online platform. Buyers can easily order the samples they are interested in on the website to achieve "one click delivery", providing a more convenient communication and trading channel for exhibitors and buyers. The new material innovation zone focuses on the concept of ecological friendliness, providing more products with the concept of artificial leather/fur for market reference.
