Under the spatial layout of "core area+collaborative area", the cluster has also formed a collaborative system of Shaoxing green printing and dyeing, Jiaxing new textile materials, Hangzhou fashion design and Ningbo brand clothing. It has 30 famous Chinese textile towns, including China warp knitting, with the largest number in China; Tongxiang Chemical Fiber, Keqiao Printing and Dyeing and other three 100 billion cluster areas, Haining Home Textile and other 22 10 billion cluster areas, the self-sufficiency rate of cluster chemical fiber fabrics reached 95%, and the self-sufficiency rate of textile equipment reached 80%.

Before being selected into the "national team", some "eye-catching bags" in the cluster had become famous for a long time. China Textile City, located in Keqiao, Shaoxing, is the world's largest textile distribution center; Zhuji Datang Street is truly the "International Socks City"; Puyuan, located in Jiaxing, is changing from a "famous woolen sweater town" to "the first fashionable town in China"; In Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places, it has formed a number of world-famous brands, such as Mastery, Youngor, Taipingbird, Boyang, Yaying, etc.

The textile industry is not only a traditional competitive industry, but also a blue ocean of high-tech applications. At present, the cluster is promoting the transformation of textiles to industrial textiles such as aerospace, defense and military industry, transportation, medical and health. In 2023, Zhejiang's industrial textile exports will account for 30.5% of the country's total, ranking first in the country.
