Counselor Ouyang Daobing Attends The Opening Ceremony Of "2024 Myanmar International Textile And Machinery Exhibition"

On December 6, the "2024 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Exhibition" jointly sponsored by China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce opened in Yangon Convention and Exhibition Center. Counsellor Ouyang Daobing of the Embassy, Director General of the Trade Promotion Department of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar, Sang Lin, Vice President of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce of Myanmar, Zhang Xinmin, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, and others attended.

Counselor Ouyang Daobing said that China is the closest partner in Myanmar's textile and clothing industry. About 60% of the investment in Myanmar's clothing manufacturing industry comes from China, providing more than 300000 jobs for the local people. Director Terin congratulated the smooth opening of the exhibition and hoped that Myanmar products could be better promoted through the exhibition platform to promote the international development of Myanmar's textile and clothing industry.

The exhibition covers textile and clothing, machinery and equipment, bags, shoes and hats, and a total of 120 enterprises participated in the exhibition.
