Wenzhou People Create Wealth Myth In Japan
From migrant workers to billionaires, from simple traditional industries to liquid crystal mobile TV and other high-tech industries, Wu Xiaobin created the wealth myth of Wenzhou people in Japan.

Wu Xiaobin said that she has been feeling so much after coming to Japan for so many years.
When I was working, the hotel owner said that the Chinese were rubbish. I chose to stay in Japan to prove to the Japanese that the Chinese were not the sick men of East Asia before, and now they are not garbage.
Recalling the situation of that year, Wu Xiaobin said that the motive force of his stay in Japan was to win the Chinese people's credit.
Wu Xiaobin was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1965. He was determined to do a big business from childhood.
At the age of 25, he founded his first industrial company and started his own business.
The company is developing smoothly and increasing profits, but Wu Xiaobin is not satisfied with the status quo, and is increasingly aware of the importance of knowledge.
In order to better absorb foreign advanced technology and advanced management mode, in 1995, he gave up his stable domestic life and went to study in Japan.
In Japan, he tasted the hardships of life: making barbecue, setting up stalls, washing public toilets...
And often discriminated against by Japanese.

One day in 1998, Wu Xiaobin noticed that Japanese young people were making innovations in their daily pursuit of mobile phones, and thus inspired the development of mobile phone antennas.
So he founded the Japanese Chung Cheng Trade Limited company in Japan (renamed the Zhongcheng company in 2004).
After that, he returned to Wenzhou, using all the funds and borrowed $200 thousand, and developed flash phone antenna in only 3 months.
By the end of 1999, his mobile phone antenna had occupied 70% of the Japanese market and had huge profits.
Since Wu Xiaobin did not join Japan, he began to seek a way of becoming bigger and stronger after completing some capital accumulation.
In the second half of 2001, Wu Xiaobin set up a Japanese ZOX company based on the development, production and sale of black household electrical appliances. It developed rapidly under the environment of depressed Japanese market and was highly praised by the media and the industry.
Japanese TV station WORLD BUSINESS gave an exclusive interview with Wu Xiaobin, and Japanese Economic Minister of Finance and deputy finance minister also gave full recognition to Wu Xiaobin.
In 2002, Wu Xiaobin went on to enter the market of Japanese timeware and outdoor products and auto supplies.
After that, he bought a company specializing in the production of electronic accessories, sun precision machine, and set up a SEEDS limited in September.
In November 2004, he founded AXCEL, a toy sales company.
So far, Wu Xiaobin's products have covered audio-visual, digital, communications, electronic and electrical appliances, automotive supplies and networks, etc., integrating design, production and trade to achieve annual sales of US $60 million.
He said: my wife and children are all Japanese nationality, but I have never joined Japanese nationality. I am proud of being a Chinese and I will dedicate my strength to my motherland.
Reporter: what is the difference between the survival environment of a company running in Japan and its domestic environment?
Wu Xiaobin: as the saying goes, a weak country has no diplomacy.
The rise of China in recent years has also allowed overseas media and foreigners to take a different look at China. But in Japan's economically developed countries, they still despise Chinese people in their bones.
Due to the fact that there is still a certain gap between Chinese enterprises and Japanese enterprises in terms of scientific and technological strength, Japan's cooperation with China is more than two or three lines, and Japan's real technology is closed to China.
The Japanese think that China is a threat to it, so you can't get the support of the government in Japan. We can only talk on our own diligence and strength.
Reporter: how do you evaluate Wenzhou businessmen in your place?
Wu Xiaobin: Wenzhou people are very famous in Japan, especially in the financial circles.
They are very concerned about Wenzhou businessmen, Wenzhou's economy and Wenzhou people. Japan's several well-known banks have special research reports on Wenzhou and related matters.
They think Wenzhou people have strong economic strength, and Wenzhou businessmen are genius in business. They have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and pioneering spirit, and have a strong sales network.
Reporter: what do you think is the difference between the operation mode of the Chinese and Japanese enterprises and the cultural background of China and Japan? Wu Xiaobin: China's domestic enterprises have more research on their own and start from the actual development of the country. Japanese enterprises have relatively wide international vision, which is related to the inherent resources of Japan.
Japan is an island country. While seeking to strengthen its economic and trade, Japan also has a strong sense of self-protection.
The government and enterprises have a high degree of tacit understanding of some real top technology in strict secrecy.
Japan is now an economic power. These enterprises are paying more attention to the international market. The internationalization and market operation of Japanese enterprises also meet this market demand.
China needs to strengthen its foreign trade, and some think tanks that need to study international trade and economic exchanges need to be strengthened.
Reporter: you unite a number of overseas elite Chinese to form associations. What do you think these associations play to the development of Chinese people?
Wu Xiaobin: the number of overseas Chinese in Japan has increased dramatically in recent years, but it is difficult for Chinese to enter the mainstream society. Some remaining problems have not been solved in Japan.
Japan did not mention the history of aggression against China in textbooks. When it mentioned the Pacific War, it set itself up as a hero to liberate Southeast Asia, and eventually became a victim, and was bombed by the United States.
Overseas Chinese can only be more supportive of their own development.
Now the Wenzhou chamber of Commerce has branches all over the world, and there is information exchange between chambers of Commerce.
Reporter: now you have achieved great success in your career. How do you think overseas Chinese entrepreneurs should contribute to the motherland?
Wu Xiaobin: I think the information service is the most important, for example, the Wenzhou chamber of Commerce often provides business information to the Wenzhou economic and Trade Bureau.
I used to be a traditional industry in Japan, and now I am in the high-tech industry. For example, the digital LCD TV production project I invested in Zhejiang has already been awarded by the provincial development and Reform Commission.
The total investment of the project is US $31 million, and it can produce 200 thousand LCD TV sets annually.
Digital TV is very mature in Japan, but China can say that it has not yet entered the digital age. In the coming years, the real digital appliances will replace the traditional appliances.
Because of its more advanced technology in the overseas market, it is also convenient for the motherland to attract foreign investment through information communication and communication, and better publicize and promote itself in international business activities.
Reporter: what do you think the influence of Japanese Chinese Elite on the Japanese government, institutions and enterprises? Wu Xiaobin: Japan and China can not reach a consensus on historical issues, so the possibility of Chinese participation in Japanese government decision-making is very small.
But on the other hand, there are many Chinese scientists and technicians in the development of software and other industries in Japan. These people will gradually enter the core institutions of Japanese enterprises.
Japanese enterprises' policy toward China is very tacit understanding with the Japanese government. For example, in hi-tech development, Japanese enterprises will not pfer real technology to Chinese enterprises for immediate interests, and Chinese enterprises in Japan can only acquire some information by acquiring large costs such as some companies.
Therefore, the Chinese elite in Japan have little influence on Japanese decision-making, and this influence still needs a long process.
