A Pair Of "80 Generation" Young People'S Agricultural Entrepreneurial Life
The 27 year old Liu Hongyu and his girlfriend Wang Xin were "gold medals". They first made a profit of about 3000000 yuan in the online game field. Last year they switched to a modern agricultural base. But in a year, they achieved little success and attracted businessmen who went shopping for vegetables.
Two of them are not "80 after agriculture". Why do they willingly become "farmers"?
This starts from the beginning.
The life before the University was arranged by parents. In the days to come, I wanted to walk on my own. These two "post-80s" were all in Chengdu Xindu District of Sichuan province.
After graduating from high school, Liu Hongyu was sent to clinical medicine at Sichuan University. Wang Xin was admitted to Central University of Finance and Economics, and then he studied in Britain, earning his master's degree in international finance from University of Manchester.
Like many Post-80's, they are open-minded, lively and confident.
Liu Hongyu loves online games. When he was an undergraduate, he was known as "invincible all over the school," and "super fond of Stephen Chow's movies". Wang Xin was keen on online shopping, like beautiful clothes and cosmetics.
Liu Hongyu had always been a good obedient boy before the University. Although his parents did not put too much pressure on him, he always felt invisible.

Money is earned, but because it is almost out of doors and out of touch with society, Liu Hongyu feels that life is becoming more and more illusory.
They decided to give up online games to find a more realistic project.
One day in April, 2006, CCTV's "daily agriculture classics" program attracted two people's attention at the same time.
The program is a set of modern agricultural science and technology projects developed by Zhejiang Lishui Agricultural Research Institute.
Looking at it, the two people could not help but get excited: the capital needed for the project is not very high, and the farm produce can sell a good price, which is not what they have been looking for.
Things behind them are faster than they can imagine.
In April, he went to Zhejiang for inspection. He returned to Chengdu in May to register and set up Guangzhou Tian Agriculture High Tech Co., Ltd., in June, he hired people, rented land, repaired roads, built houses, built big houses, and entered equipment.
All the arrangements were made, and the modern agricultural base of Liu Hongyu and Wang Xin was built.
This is our business. It is not a two day walk. The two agricultural base in the village of Pai Shui village in the town of Xindu District has an area of 54 mu, and the first lease has been signed for 22 years.
Liu Hongyu said: "we intend to do it in the long run. This is our cause, not two days."
Getting up early every morning, Liu Hongyu went to the field to see the growth of the crops and help the workers to arrange their vegetables.
Wang Xin is responsible for making accounts, analyzing the market, sorting out data and contacting government departments.
This time, they invested nearly 4 million yuan. In addition to the two people who earned money, they supported a small part of their families. They must return as soon as possible, at least to maintain the basic operation.
Liu Hongyu and Wang Xin had an idea.
To say fast, sprouts are a typical example. If you have the right temperature, humidity and light, you can harvest them in a week.

They left just after 5 a.m. and relied on the excellent quality of their own sprouts, and another wholesaler was persuaded to agree to buy their sprouts.
Li Jianying, a wholesaler, took a fancy to the excellent quality of their sprouts. He also saw the sincerity and courage of the two young people and became one of the earliest partners of Guang Tian company.
Liu Hongyu and Wang Xin did not know at that time. Li Jianying was one of the largest vegetable suppliers in Carrefour, Chengdu until one day, Li Jianying volunteered to take them to Carrefour and the heads of the meeting.
When Liu Hongyu brought out samples of sprouts with water droplets, the manager of the Carrefour fresh department was somewhat excited. He repeatedly said that such products had only been seen in Guangzhou and asked them when they could enter the field, so that they could make the best place for them.
Liu Hongyu and Wang Xin immediately went back to make shelves for the Sprouting Vegetables, printed brochures, made promotional boards, and asked salesmen.
On the first day of the sale, Wang Xin was very proud of the fact that "it's so popular that some customers don't want us to cut the vegetables down and take them away directly."
They sold more than 200 sets that day.
It became famous in the first World War, and the sprouts of Guang Tian company opened its market in the supermarket.
Direct supply to supermarkets requires a lot of time and effort. In order to concentrate on production, they finally chose all the simple operations of selling [FS:PAGE] to wholesalers, and Li Jianying worked with them.
As a result, the daily output of sprouting vegetables is 60 tons per square meter. The daily output of sprouts is one ton (if the land is cultivated, the yield will reach 60 mu).

On the one hand, farmers have increased their income. On the one hand, the company has made profits through the two links of providing seedlings and unified sales.
The conditions for farmers now are quite favorable: they first provide seedlings, technology and fertilizer free of charge. After the vegetables are sold to the company, the cost is deducted from the sales amount.
In order to attract farmers to join, they plan to grant farmers 1000 yuan per mu.
Wang Xin said, "this is just like a shopping mall, but this subsidy is sure to be enjoyed only if we first join it. We don't have that much money."
Now they have contacted the more than 30 farmers around, and are ready to start planting vegetables in June.
Liu Hongyu and Wang Xin have a lot of feelings about the modern agricultural life of the year.
Liu Hongyu said: "before making online games, I made money, but did not bring anything to the community.
Now we can make money in modern agriculture, and we can also help farmers get rich and contribute to the local economy.
This is not a big word. Young people should have a sense of social responsibility.
Liu Hongyu said with confidence that the investment of 4 million yuan can be recovered in 4 years.
At present, there are 20 employees in Guang Tian company, including 8 college students who have studied agriculture.
The sale of vegetables is also very gratifying. Some wholesalers drive to the company to pull vegetables, and sometimes run away because they have sold out.
Liu Hongyu has been so busy that he has no time to play online games. When Wang Xin buys things, he doesn't spend as much as one thousand or two thousand yuan as he used to do: "think of that amount of money.
They are happier than they used to be: "this kind of life is what we want to feel."
