The Chinese Government Has Reasonable Treatment.
In March 14th, in the capital city of Lhasa, Tibet, there was a violent outbreak of looting and burning. In the face of the "bad" act of "Tibetan independence" in splitting up the motherland, the Chinese government adopted a series of measures of rational and effective measures to effectively curb the further expansion of the incident and safeguard the reunification of the motherland.
In March 14th, the violence of the Dalai clique broke out in Lhasa, capital of Tibet autonomous region. Some thugs beat and killed innocent people, burned schools and shops, looted shops and banks, and destroyed public facilities. Lhasa, the holy city, was filled with panic. In the face of this violent incident, the armed police officers and soldiers in the Tibet autonomous region and the police did not use any weapons of killing, protecting the lives and property of the masses with flesh and blood, and vigorously maintaining social order.
But the mob intensified and became more insane. A large number of video data showed that the mob attacked the armed police soldiers with stones and machetes. Many public security officers and armed police soldiers were beaten by the mob. Even more frenzied, there were even thugs who scoop out the large bowl of meat from the buttocks of the soldiers who were stunned by stones.
In the face of such madness, Darai group and some western media with ulterior motives distort the fact and condemn the Chinese government's suppression of their "peaceful protest".
The fact is always the fact that some Western tourists and journalists have told the public what they have seen. They see the mob's crazy beating and burning, rather than the so-called "suppression" of the public security armed police.
According to statistics from the public security department as of March 21st, 18 innocent people were killed and 382 people were injured (58 seriously injured) in the incident, and 242 policemen and armed police officers and soldiers were killed on duty (1 of them were killed and 23 injured).
In the face of the violence of Tibetan independence forces, the central government has shown great restraint in the face of the separatist activities of the Darai group. The central government hopes that the Tibet autonomous region will be prosperous and peaceful, and people will live and work in peace and contentment. As long as Darai abandonment of independence, the door of the central government's negotiations has always been open.
Premier Wen Jiabao said at the March 18th Chinese and foreign press conference that we solemnly affirmed repeatedly that if Darai gave up his independent claim and recognized Tibet as an inalienable part of China's territory and recognized Taiwan as an inalienable part of China's territory and stopped all separatist activities, the door for dialogue with him was always open. This is what we put forward, and has not changed so far. But recent events have proved the hypocrisy of these two key issues. Even so, I would like to reiterate that our original claim is to count, and the key is to see his actions.
Restraint does not mean tolerating separatist behaviour and tolerating the killing of innocent civilians. Any nation or religion must abide by the Constitution and other laws and regulations of a country. This is the basic rule of a country's long-term stability. There is no room for bargaining.
In the face of atrocities, many people have demanded severe punishment for murderers and separatists. After the incident, the local public security authorities took prompt action and cracked two cases of violence that resulted in 10 deaths. The suspects have been arrested and other illegal elements are being arrested.
Social stability is the common aspiration of all ethnic groups in China and an important prerequisite for reform and development. Without stable social environment, the fruits that have been achieved will be lost. The history and reality of Tibet have proved eloquently that without stability, there will be no development without the happy life of all ethnic groups in Tibet. It is unpopular for anyone and anyone to attempt to destroy Tibet's stability. The 1 billion 300 million Chinese people, including the people of all ethnic groups in Tibet, will never agree.
