China'S Textile And Clothing Exports Returned To Normal Level In The First Quarter Of This Year
In the first quarter of this year, China's exports of textiles and clothing increased by about 18% over the same period, and the increase was more normal, indicating that China's textile and clothing exports have returned to normal levels.
According to the latest statistics from the Chinese customs, the Chinese textile and garment industry in the first quarter of this year faced many adverse effects such as the acceleration of RMB appreciation, the reduction of export tax rebate rate, the spread of the US subprime crisis, the increase of production factor prices and the rise of labor costs.
In March, the export speed of China's textile and clothing products increased to four to 50%, thus increasing the growth of China's textile exports in the first quarter and basically restoring the normal level of the whole year.
Among them, textile exports and clothing exports increased by 27% and 12% respectively, while imports of textiles and clothing grew by only two point six percent during the same period.
In the first quarter of this year, China exported textile and clothing in general trade mode, accounting for 70% of the total value of China's textile and garment exports in the same period, and processing trade exports accounted for 24%.
At the same time, the EU accounts for the first place in China's textile and apparel export market.
The US export market, which ranks second in exports, was affected by the US economic downturn. The cumulative export volume in March was smaller.
In addition, Japan and South Korea are still important markets for the export of Chinese textile and clothing products.
During this period, textile and clothing exports in China, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanghai and Fujian still occupy an important position.
