German Athletes Receive Olympic Equipment In The Barracks.

The German Olympic team members have been collecting Olympic equipment from a German army camp in Mainz since July 7th.

Shelb, a German Olympic Committee official, told Xinhua on the 10 day that every member of the German delegation attending the Beijing Olympic Games would receive an equipment bag containing 70 items.

These 70 Olympic equipment items are mainly divided into clothing, health care products and personal belongings.

Clothing includes clothing, training clothes, T-Shirts, POLO, vest, shorts, shoes, cap and so on. Personal items include sunglasses, wallets and belts, etc.

Shelb also revealed that some of the textile products in German Olympic equipment were made in China.

He said humorously, "these products made in China will return to their homeland through the German Olympic team."

According to Shelb, due to the different preparations for the German Olympic team members, the time of issuing the Olympic equipment will continue from July 7th to 31.

He said that the number of equipment and articles needed to be delivered reached 100 thousand, which required large areas of field and manpower.

As a partner of the German Olympic Committee, the German army provided a military camp in Mainz as a storage and distribution facility for Olympic equipment, and 40 soldiers helped the German Olympic Committee to issue Olympic equipment.

According to Shelb, all the athletes who had received the items were satisfied with the clothes of the German Olympic delegation.

Sportsmen think these garments are not only functional but also fashionable and bright.

It is reported that the clothing color of the German Olympic delegation is mainly black, red, gold and tricolor with the German flag.
