Li Changjiang, director general of the AQSIQ, said in Shanghai today that the AQSIQ decided to take practical actions to save the export cost of enterprises in order to help import and export enterprises to tide over the difficulties.

The AQSIQ announced that it will implement the "direct release" policy for import and export goods nationwide from now on.

It mainly includes 2600 kinds of products, such as industrial products, agricultural products, textile and clothing.

The so-called direct release mode means that goods can be issued directly after customs inspection and quarantine, and customs clearance will be issued at all ports across the country.

In the past, after passing inspection and quarantine, the goods must pass the port inspection and quarantine, so that they can pass the customs smoothly.

The two pass has become a gateway, which will not only speed up the logistics speed of export goods, shorten the trade cycle, but also reduce the operation cost of enterprises.

Li Yuanping, director of the customs clearance department of the AQSIQ, said: "the main requirement is that enterprises should abide by the law and discipline, be honest and trustworthy, have a sound management system, and ensure the quality of their products, so long as they meet these basic requirements, they can apply for direct release.

From the point of view of saving costs, it is only enterprises that have removed the hoisting boxes, warehousing and other occupancy costs at the ports, and a container can save about 200 yuan.

Li Yuanping said that after the implementation of this measure, the cost savings of the relevant large export enterprises will be around 10 million yuan a year, and the clearance time of each shipment can be increased 2 to 3 days.

In addition, a direct release policy will be implemented for eligible imported goods.
