In the first half of this year, the total registered capital of garment enterprises was 136 million yuan, and the individual garment industry invested 49 million yuan in registered capital. The total investment in garment enterprises dropped by 39.03% compared with the same period last year, and the investment in the clothing industry increased by 26.65%.

Textile and clothing is a traditional bulk commodity exported to Ningbo, which accounts for nearly 1/3 of the total export volume of the city.

At present, the main problem of textile and clothing export in Ningbo is that the number of export processing enterprises is fixed, while the proportion of textile and clothing exports with registered brands is relatively small.

Global textile quotas will be abolished, which is a big positive news for Ningbo's more than 2000 garment manufacturers.

However, the textile and garment export enterprises of the city are cheering for this "positive" and have to face all kinds of problems. First, the price of trade negotiations is more and more pparent. The relatively low price of textile and clothing may become the "guiding price" of the international market; secondly, the anti-dumping, special safeguard clauses and "green barriers" of the United States and European Union will still be entangled, and clothing export still exists "hidden reefs"; finally, due to the pressure from abroad, the competition pressure of China's garment industry will increase.

In addition, such as RMB appreciation, labor shortage, labor cost increase, tight monetary policy and other macro policy adjustments have inhibited the development and redevelopment of garment enterprises to varying degrees.

The two rise of garment industry needs urgent efforts.

In order to change the current unfavorable situation, clothing enterprises should innovate and reform products, markets, business methods and environment, constantly increase investment in technological pformation of garment industry, vigorously develop foreign trade clothing products, new products and famous brands, expand their own brand clothing, and conditional clothing enterprises should actively create international clothing brands, directly enter the higher level and wider field of foreign trade marketing channels, seize the business opportunities brought by fashion exhibitions, and actively expand trade pactions.

We should speed up the pace of industrial restructuring, and form a more complete garment industry system with clothing as the main body, textile, dyeing and finishing, and accessories and accessories as soon as possible.
