The Sample Rate Of Shanghai Knitted T-Shirts Is 81.4%.

In the 2 quarter of 2008, the Shanghai quality and Technical Supervision Bureau conducted special supervision and spot checks on the quality of the knitted T-shirts produced and sold in Shanghai.

The sample of 59 batches of products, after inspection, qualified 48 batches, product physical sampling rate of 81.4%.

Spot checks found that the main problem of nonconforming products is that the pH value of the product exceeds the standard, the fiber content is not consistent with the actual product, and the product label is not standardized.

The identification of fiber content is inconsistent with the fact that there are more prominent problems in the spot checks. The national standard clearly stipulates that the enterprises should indicate the fiber content to consumers in the instructions.

In this spot check, 7 batches of fiber contents of the batches are inconsistent with the indication. They can be roughly divided into two categories: one is that the number of fibers is more than that of the product. For example, the fiber content of the 3 batches of the sample is 100% cotton, but the difference is very large.

The spot checks have 5 batches of products pH value exceeding the standard, mainly alkaline.

The pH value of healthy skin is between 5.5 and 7, and is weakly acidic.

All kinds of dyes and auxiliaries in the process of textile printing and dyeing are not fully washed and all kinds of finishing agents added during the process of washing are not regulated, which will cause the pH value to exceed the standard.

The pH value of the fabric exceeds the pH range of the skin. It will damage the balance and resistance of the skin, cause irritation and corrosion to the skin, cause skin inflammation or induce infection, and cause damage to the sweat gland system and nervous system of the human body.

The pH value of textiles can be controlled within the proper range of human body by acid-base and adequate washing.

In view of the problems found in the supervision and spot check of the product, the Shanghai quality and Technical Supervision Bureau has asked the departments of quality and technology supervision of all districts and counties to strictly deal with the enterprises with unqualified product quality in the spot checks according to the relevant laws and regulations, and make rectification within a time limit.
