Jinghe County Tries Its Best To Build Cotton Industry Chain
In recent years, Jinghe County firmly grasps the core of accelerating the construction of new industrialization, and fully relies on abundant cotton resources locally to accelerate the establishment of cotton processing system.
By the end of 2007, the county's cotton processing enterprises have completed the industrial added value of 75 million 100 thousand yuan, and cotton processing has become a pillar industry supporting the county's economic development.
In 2007, the cotton planting area in Jinghe county has reached 315 thousand and 800 mu, accounting for 82% of the total sown area in the whole county. The cotton yield per unit reached 133. 03 kg, and the total output was 42005 tons. In 2006, Jinghe had entered the ranks of the 100 million cotton bearing counties and cities in Xinjiang.
In order to make full use of the superior cotton resources in the county and speed up industrial upgrading, in recent years, Jinghe county has introduced the cotton processing enterprises to Jinghe by means of both external and internal cultivation.
The cotton industry chain has been continuously extended. Now, in addition to selling some raw cotton, Jinghe county can produce all kinds of products with high added value such as pure cotton yarn, cloth, cotton pulp and so on. The Xinjiang Jintian Hai Industrial and Trading Company, which was commissioned in January this year, has produced 600 tons of cotton pulp and realized output value of 7 million 200 thousand yuan. It is expected to produce 30 thousand tons of cotton pulp this year, achieving 360 million yuan in output value and 14 million yuan in profits and taxes.
At present, the county has initially formed a cotton processing system mainly consisting of 16 cotton ginning plants, Tian Jie cotton industry, Zhui textile, Lida textile, Jincheng weaving fabric and Jintian sponge pulp, with 50 thousand spindles and 1.2 million tons of cotton processing per year.
At the same time, Xinjiang oasis Guoxin vegetable protein Co., Ltd. invested 51 million 660 thousand yuan to build a new 300 tons / day detoxified cotton protein project, which is being actively constructed and is expected to be completed by the end of October.
