Ningxia Cashmere Industry Increased Production, Profit Margins Reduced By 30%
Cashmere industry is a characteristic and advantageous industry supported by the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
In August 14th, the reporter learned from the Ningxia textile and light industry bureau that in the first half of this year, the output, output value, sales revenue and industrial added value of Ningxia cashmere enterprises increased by more than 20%, but the profit of cashmere processing enterprises decreased by 33.34% compared with the same period last year.
In recent years, the cashmere industry in our region has sprung up, and has developed into an important goat's velvet, plush distribution center and cashmere products processing base in the whole country and even in the world.
Entering the 2008, the price of cashmere, as "soft gold", was on the decline in the price rising trend of the whole country.
From January to June this year, cashmere enterprises above Designated Size produced 3152 tons of goats without plush, an increase of 24.14% over the same period, and 411 thousand and 400 cashmere sweaters, an increase of 169.59% over the same period last year.
The total output value of 24 cashmere enterprises above Designated Size reached 2 billion 390 million yuan, an increase of 23.14% over the same period last year. The main business revenue was 1 billion 901 million yuan, an increase of 16.35% over the same period last year. The cumulative value added of industrial added value was 780 million yuan, up 21.5% over the same period last year.
The head of the textile industry management office of Ningxia textile and industrial bureau believes that the profit of our cashmere processing enterprises decreased in the first half of this year, thanks to the appreciation of the RMB exchange rate, the raise of the bank lending rate, the lowering of the export tax rebate rate of textile products, the increase of raw material prices and the increase of labor costs of enterprises.
In the second half of the year, the textile (cashmere) enterprises in the region need to further practice their "internal strength" in order to appreciate in the value curve, relying on technological progress to improve production efficiency and upgrade product structure, so as to enhance the strength of enterprises and cultivate new competitiveness.
