Exports Of Textiles And Clothing At Ningbo Port Are Nearly Ten Billion US Dollars.

Ningbo customs statistics showed that the total export volume of textiles and clothing at Ningbo port in 1-7 was $9 billion 921 million, an increase of 29% over the same period last year (the same below).

Trade volume reached 1 billion 856 million US dollars in July, a record high in the past month.

The export of textiles was 6 billion 99 million US dollars, up 40.8%, and the export volume was $3 billion 822 million, up 13.7%.

Private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises are the main export force, with export volume of 5 billion 171 million US dollars and US $2 billion 643 million respectively, increasing by 44.4% and 27.7% respectively, together with two accounting for 78.8% of the total export value.

Under the general trade mode, the total export volume was 8 billion 885 million US dollars, an increase of 29.2%, accounting for 89.6% of the total export value.

The products were mainly exported to the European Union ($2 billion 387 million, an increase of 47.3%), the United Arab Emirates (771 million US dollars, an increase of 18.5%), and the United States (754 million US dollars, 13.8%), and three together accounted for 39.4% of the total value of exports.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued a notice recently announcing that since August 1, 2008, the export tax rebate rate of some textiles and clothing has increased from 11% to 13%. This policy adjustment will promote the export of textiles and clothing to a certain extent.
