Necktie Industry Standard Shengzhou National Standard

Yesterday, the reporter learned from the tie association that the "tie" industry standard, which has been implemented for nine years, is going to be upgraded to the national standard. It is expected that the standard will be approved before September 15th.

The "tie" industry standard has been upgraded to the national standard. This symbolizes that the tie industry in Shengzhou has occupied the commanding heights of industry and grasped the "right to speak" of the industry, which has taken a more solid step for the future development of the industry.

Shengzhou is famous for its ties. The annual output of neckties is 90% of that in China, 40% in the world, and its annual sales revenue exceeds 15 billion yuan.

With the continuous development of tie industry and the diversification of market demand, the formulation of the national standard of tie is very important.

In March this year, the Shengzhou quality supervision and Inspection Institute declared the application of the national standard working group for the tie to the national garment Standardization Technical Committee.

In April, the National Garment Standards Committee was approved. Shengzhou has obtained the right to formulate the national standard of tie, which is of great significance to the development of tie industry in Shengzhou.

Compared with the old industry standards, the new "necktie" national standard has increased the assessment of the formaldehyde content, pH value, odor and decomposable aromatic amine fuel in necktie products.

The new national standard of necktie clearly requires that the index of formaldehyde content in the necktie products must reach the limit index of not more than 300 mg per kilogram.

Since decomposable aromatic amine is a dye, some producers add it to textile products in order to reduce costs and increase the degree of colourful fabric.

This dye is not only easily absorbed by human body, but also easy to induce lesions.

Therefore, the new national standard first proposed mandatory requirements, tie banned decomposable aromatic amine dyes.

At the same time, in order to ensure that the tie does not stimulate the wearer's skin, the standard stipulates that the pH value of the necktie product must be between 4 and 9.

The new national standard also stipulates that neckties must not be smelly, and water fastness, stain fastness and rubbing fastness must meet certain requirements.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the specifications of necktie products must be marked in centimeters, so that buyers can clearly understand the size of the necktie they bought.
