New Oriental Textiles: "Super" Polyethylene Fiber
The Japanese Dai Ni Ma co sponsored by Toyo textile company and Holland DMS company was formally put into operation in February 2010, mainly producing super strong polyethylene fibers called "DNI".
Recently, the Japanese company has announced that it will increase investment and expand its capacity to two times the original plan, reaching an annual output of 3200 tons.
Danima is a super fiber, about 8 times the strength of the piano string. It has better impact resistance, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance, and it can float on the water surface. Therefore, Danima has broad market prospects in ropes, fishing lines, safety gloves, helmets, building reinforcement materials and other fields. Although Japan announced that in January this year, the design capacity of the company expanded from 1000 tons per year to 1600 tons, which still can not meet the market demand. Coupled with the rise in steel prices, Danima's demand is further expanded as a substitute for steel rings. In view of the changes in market conditions, Japan's decision to invest 5 billion yen to expand production lines.
The high strength polyethylene fiber "Tong Nu Jia" developed by Dongyang spinning company can not compare with Danima in performance, but it still has a strength of two times that of nylon fiber. Because of the melt spinning process, the production cost is far lower than that of Danima. Therefore, the Dongyang spun side plans to produce the production of Dai Ni Ma at the same time, to achieve the volume production of Tong Na Jia, in order to meet the needs of water pipes, safety gloves and other areas with low strength requirements, so as to achieve the steady development of super fiber business.
In the new round of medium and long term planning, Dongyang put forward the "driving force to improve the growth of enterprises". Therefore, it is planned to further expand the scale of investment after 2010. Besides Danima, the car airbag is also the investment focus of Toyo textile business.
