Zhu Tong town is known as "the first town of foreign trade in the south of the Yangtze River". It is the "famous town of knitted garments in China" awarded by the China Textile Industry Association.

Sang Yang Textile Co., Ltd. is one of the well-known enterprises in the town. In 1991, it was a leading innovation company. Lu Wenchang, chairman of the company, was also popular with the industry for its willingness to challenge new things.

In the more than 10 years of the company's development, enterprises have diversified operations in the main line of the textile industry, and have been involved in many fields such as machinery, health technology and so on. Enterprises have been growing stronger in mergers and acquisitions.

In 2004, sang Yang bought a linen factory, Jiangyin delta Textile Technology Co., Ltd.

The company is a group of chemical, spinning and weaving enterprises with total assets amounting to several hundred million.

However, due to poor management, enterprises are on the verge of collapse.

Sang Yang bought the company at a price of 110 million, and at the same time, after three months of adjustment, it started to work on the right track.

Therefore, let sang Yang have more exposure to linen.

It is understood that as a natural raw material for textiles, hemp is mainly divided into four categories: hemp, jute, ramie and linen, of which flax is 5000 years old. It is the earliest natural plant fiber used by mankind. Its fiber is a rare natural fiber, accounting for only 1.5% of the total fiber. It has the characteristics of heat dissipation, sweat absorption, antifouling, flame retardancy, bacteriostatic and antibacterial, and antistatic ultraviolet resistance. Because of its natural, ancient, noble and elegant, it is known as "fiber Queen".

According to the study, the cost performance of flax is the highest among the same species. The economic value of flax is considerable, but at the same time, the development of flax is also the most difficult.

Lu Wenchang, who is in love with one line, has to contact linen, so he needs to get the flax out.

He personally ran to Donghua University to discuss with linen experts.

Through the discussion, he learned that the traditional linen yarn has the disadvantages of hard handle, poor sliver, easy breaking and low elongation. It can not be produced on the knitting circular knitting machine. It is a blank in the world that 60 or more high count yarns are knitted.

At present, there are nearly 30 flax enterprises in China, among which 3 of the strongest technical strength are selected from the raw materials imported from France, and the 60 spun yarn can not be knitted products.

The new information gave Lu Wenchang new hope and motive force. He made full use of the unique craft and advanced production equipment developed over the years to overcome the shackles of linen yarn in the knitting field and fill the international blank.

Can you finish the product in half a year?

When the first linen sweater produced by sang Yang was shown on the big circular knitting machine before the experts of Donghua University, they were shocked.

Although the first linen sweater is not very uniform and the style is not new or even earth, it is the first finished product of China's Flax in the knitting field, which is a dream of several generations.

It turned out that after discussing with linen experts from Donghua University, Lu Wenchang decided that he could completely take the trouble. As he explained to the linen experts of Donghua University, his years of business experience made him master a series of knowledge from chemical raw materials to spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, and accumulated a lot of practical experience.

At the same time, the equipment provided by sang Yang also provides excellent conditions for its rapid experiment.

With the advent of second and third flax knitted sweaters, its strength, uniformity, handle and wear resistance are becoming more and more standard. The Swiss SGS laboratory has given authoritative certification to Sang Yang's products.

When fourth flax knitted sweaters came out, sang Yang formally submitted an application to the government of the town of Zhu Tong. After careful inspection, the town government quickly made an exception to grant 50 mu of land for the construction and production of the new project.

In June 2007, sang Yang's flax knitting yarn project was officially launched.

In April 18, 2008, it was formally put into production.

Asked about the secret of the success of Sang Yang company, Lu Wenchang said with a smile that linen yarn had a total of more than 20 processes from the former road to the middle road. At present, sang Yang has been able to master its core technologies in all aspects.

But can we say that we can sit back and relax?

Lu Wenchang frankly said, certainly not, not to grasp the source of the pain.

According to him, there are two problems at present: one is flax seed, the other is flax degumming.

Although sang Yang has grasped the technology of flax degumming, the problem of seed has not yet been solved, and the purchase of raw materials from abroad for a long time is bound to be restricted.

The problem of seed gene breeding has been a difficult problem for a long time. At present, the research of various institutions in China mostly focuses on the technology of flax degumming, and there is not a lot of genetic technology and post harvest management for seeds. The reason is that the change of planting environment, such as air, water and soil, is very difficult. Another reason is that research and experiment need to invest a lot of funds.

What is the plan of Sang Yang?

During the interview, Lu Wenchang looked at several photographs of the textile and clothing weekly, a flax plantation in France.

He disclosed that in order to grasp the planting technology of flax as early as possible, he had studied the flax planting situation abroad with the deputy director general of the China knitwear industry earlier this year, and brought back the soil of seeds and French flax plantations. Mastering the seed gene technology has become another new target of Sang Yang.

At present, sang Yang company has collaborated with Yangzhou University and Nanjing University to carry out the experiment of flax seed re planting. The aim is to cultivate flax seeds suitable for Chinese soil, thus breaking through the bottleneck of flax planting in China.

At the same time, Lu Wenchang told the textile and clothing weekly with delight that the flax seedling planted at Yangzhou University is now half a meter high, and it will be ready for seed in another month.
