Steady Growth Of Textile And Clothing Export In Zaozhuang

As the first textile and garment industry base in Shandong Province, recently, Zaozhuang Central District has been identified as "China's knitted cultural shirt industry innovation base".

At present, there are 81 Textile Enterprises above Designated Size, forming a more complete industrial chain including spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, and cotton textile, wool textile, chemical fiber, carpet, knitted garments, textile machinery and other more complete textile industry systems; annual output of 81 thousand tons of cotton yarn, 320 million tons of chemical fiber, 60 million tons of clothing, 400 million cultural shirts, and products including cultural shirts, jeans, casual wear, children's wear, sportswear, T-Shirts, cotton and wool sets and ring spun yarn, high-quality cotton yarn, polyester cotton cloth, water washing cloth, sand washing cloth, etc., and exported to more than 50 countries and regions such as Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macao, the Middle East, Europe and the United States.

Among them, T-shirt exports account for about 30% of the province's total exports.

In 1-7 months, the total export volume of textile and clothing was 68 million 720 thousand US dollars, up 40.4% from the same period last year, which is 24.1 percentage points higher than the average level of the whole province.
