    Expo Home Textile Accessories

    Immersed in the joyful days of the Olympic Games successfully held throughout the country, on August 2008 26~28, Shanghai will welcome friends from all over the world and a global event of home textile industry. The fourteenth China International Textile and Accessories Expo will be held at Shanghai New International Exhibition Center.

    909 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions, including China, Italy, France, Germany, Britain, Spain, Greece, the United States, Australia, Japan, Korea, India, Pakistan, Austria, Canada, Holland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, China Hongkong and China Taiwan, will present a feast of home textile brands.

     

    According to the organizers, the exhibition area is over 100 thousand square meters. The nine pavilions are divided into bedding area, decorative fabric area, non-woven area, curtain area, indoor ornament area, designer salon, overseas exhibition hall, down and product exhibition area, electrostatic flocking exhibition area, towel exhibition area, etc.

    The exhibits include bedding, indoor ornaments, feather and down products, towel products, curtains, decorative cloth, etc., which fully embodies the idea of home textiles advocated by China's home textile industry.

     

    Lighting hope with exhibition

     

    At present, the textile industry is facing a very difficult time, this exhibition still attracted widespread attention in the industry.

    "At present, the development of the industry has indeed encountered unprecedented challenges, but the more pessimistic we are, the more positive we should be to guide, like lighting the Olympic torch, with the hope of lighting the industry with the exhibition."

    Yang Donghui, vice president of China Textile Industry Association and President of China Textile Association, said.

     

    Yang Donghui evaluated the economic performance of the home textile industry with "good overall development".

    He said that since 2000, the home textile association has pushed the Chinese textile industry to a fast growth track of 6 annual average growth rate of 30% through the "momentum". It has become a thriving industry in China's textile industry, attracting many investors to enter the home textile industry.

    Under the situation of promising investment in the industry, the home textile association has put forward the "cold thinking" under the heat, guiding the industry and enterprises to view the future development rationally.

    Despite the slowdown in international market demand, the rising cost of domestic elements and the tightening of macro policies since the second half of last year, the domestic textile market still maintained an increase of 30%.

    With the sharp decline in the export of textile industry, the export volume of home textile industry increased 1~6 by 22% this year.

    This is the result of the 2008 development of the home textile association from five aspects: "creativity, responsibility, characteristics, operation and team".

     

    But Yang Donghui also believes that the home textile industry is still running in the "double high" environment, that is, high cost and high risk.

    In particular, tight monetary policy, full implementation of the labor contract law, supervision and enforcement of energy saving emission reduction targets, and new challenges in the post Olympic era, the slowdown in the international economy and the rise of Southeast Asian competitors will directly affect the development of the home textile industry.

     

    He said that the home textile industry can only meet the challenges of today by taking the road of creativity and differentiation.

    He hopes to see the creativity of enterprises in the field of life, decoration, sales and service in this home textile exhibition, create new markets and create new demands through creativity, so as to establish the industry's confidence in overcoming difficulties.

     

    Area enlargement threshold raise

     

    From last year's 88 thousand square meters to 100 thousand square meters this year, the volume of China International Textile Expo is growing steadily.

    Yang Zhaohua, vice president of the textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of trade, and vice president of China Textile Association, said: "we have not considered the development of the exhibition from the perspective of expansion scale. We should strive to build a good trade platform for enterprises from various aspects.

    The scale of this year's exhibition is 103 thousand and 500 square meters, but we have raised the threshold in inviting exhibitors and purchasers.

    The exhibition brand will be refined, deep and thorough, and expand the popularity of buyers at home and abroad, so that the home textile exhibition will move towards the double strong platform of domestic and foreign trade.

     

    With the booming domestic market, more and more home textile enterprises have shifted the focus of the market to the domestic market.

    Many well-known domestic enterprises unveiled this exhibition.

    Dinosaurs, BABEI, fuanna, dream LAN, Ya Fang Ting, Huarun, Yunlong, Yue Da, Vico, itman, colster, Zhuo Ying, waltay, Daly, Changhua, Yuan Zhicheng, Ben man Yue... Will use colorful products to deduce the different styles of soft decoration that bring home fashion, comfort and warmth.

    In particular, a large number of Shandong's scale enterprises are participating in the exhibition, which will bring a beautiful landscape to the 2008 China International Home Textile Exhibition.

     

    In addition, enterprises that won the "famous brand of Chinese textile products" and "China famous trademark" will show the charm of the top Chinese textile enterprises in the exhibition.

    The overall appearance of China's home textile industry cluster Yuhang, Haining, Nantong, Shaoxing, Tongxiang, Pujiang and Jiande will also show the unique vitality of the most vigorous and vital home textile base in China's home textile industry.

     

    Not only domestic enterprises, but also some international brands have extended their channels to China. This year, the overseas exhibition area has doubled, occupying an entire Pavilion is the best explanation.

    There are 25 enterprises in Turkey exhibiting, covering an area of 584 square meters; 14 exhibitors in Pakistan, 181 square meters in exhibition area, and 16 and 11 enterprises in Taiwan and Hongkong respectively.

     

    Besides the threshold of exhibitors, the quality of spectators and purchasers is also improving.

    The organizing committee has also increased its invitation to buyers of domestic department stores and shopping malls.

    This year, the organizing committee has locked 10 target markets, including southwest, northeast, central China, East China, Southern China, etc., and has invited nearly 100 purchasing managers from the department stores of more than 100 famous shopping shops to visit the exhibition. The purpose is to extend the domestic trade function of the home textile exhibition through these measures.
