Meng Textile Enterprises Face Closure Due To Insufficient Gas Supply
孟紡織協會主席昨日在記者招待會上透露，到目前為止，該協會約150家紡紗、編織及印花會員企業因供氣壓力過低無法發電導致工廠無法運轉。這些工廠損失嚴重，很多已無力償還銀行貸款，支付銀行利息甚至員工工資。如果供氣問題持續惡化，很多紡織企業均面臨關閉危險，這將對孟加拉紡織業產生巨大沖擊。孟大量商界人士紛紛要求政府采取措施保障紡織企業的優先供氣，但政府遲遲未見動靜。
