In August 21st, the State Administration of customs office of the General Administration of Customs organized the national inspection and acceptance group to check the opening of the Shenzhen Shanghai and Wei tou port areas on the port of Quanzhou in Shishi district.

Members of the inspection and Quarantine Department of the State Administration of customs, the Ministry of public security, the Ministry of pport, the General Administration of quality supervision and quarantine, the general staff's operations department, the Fujian provincial government and the Quanzhou municipal government and other key members of the inspection team visited the port and port inspection facilities in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Shenzhen, and held the acceptance meeting.

According to the introduction, Shishi District, Shenzhen and Shanghai port area, was approved as the two class port in 1992. It was opened to the public in 2003. In 2007, the port throughput was 1 million 260 thousand tons. The Wai tou port area was approved as the two class port in 1998, and opened to the outside world in 2006. The throughput of the port area in 2007 is 197 thousand.

Shenzhen and Wai tau port are the largest bulk cargo and container ports in Jinjiang. They are important small trade points for Taiwan.

With the adoption of state-level acceptance, the port will continue to open up new international routes. It will further play the "Haixi" export-oriented economic development and the advantages of Taiwan trade, reduce the logistics cost of foreign trade enterprises, and push Quanzhou port to build 100 million tons.
